Recently, my friends and I visited Yadagirigutta and Swarnagiri Temple.
While we were waiting for darshan, we were taking photos, and I noticed a guy who kept looking at us. I ignored it.
Later, as we were walking towards the temple, he stopped me and said, “You look very gorgeous, so I wanted to approach you.”
He then asked my name, college, year, and branch before asking for my Instagram.
I told him I don’t have Instagram, hoping that would end the conversation. Instead, he immediately asked for my phone number.
We were complete strangers, and this happened at a temple of all places.
My question is: Do some guys actually expect a random girl to share her Instagram or phone number just because they asked? Has this approach ever worked? I’d love to hear both the male and female perspective.
Hi seniors,
I recently got admission to ECE at Mahindra University. My main interest is in AI and Computer Science, but based on my JEE score, I wasn’t able to get CSE or AI directly.
I’ve been told that if I maintain around an 8+ CGPA in the first year, I may be eligible to switch to CSE or AIML in the second year. Since I really want to maximize my chances, I want to start preparing even before college begins.
Could seniors please guide me on:
1.What subjects are taught in the first year that are important for scoring well?
2.Which books should I read before joining?
4.Are there any specific professors, exams, assignments, or grading patterns I should be aware of?
Went to Mahindra University yesterday for admissions and was told to return on Monday because of a movie shoot on campus. Anyone know what was being filmed? I’m just curious

Based on my JEE percentile, I have received the following branch options at Mahindra University:
My main goal is good placements and opportunities in the IT/software sector.
Which of these branches would you
recommend and why?
Going to a major star’s movie at Devi Theatre always feels special. I’m hoping to experience the full atmosphere huge crowds, celebrations, fans singing, cheering, and all the madness that comes with a big release. Not sure how many people will turn up this time, but I’m excited to see whether the theatre still delivers that classic first-day energy. Anyone else planning to watch it there?
I didn’t get a good rank in EAMCET, so I’ll most likely have to join through management quota. Right now, I have two options:
My parents are suggesting KMIT because its placements are considered good. We even visited and spoke to them today. But honestly, I didn’t like the college that much. From what I understood, placements are good, but there aren’t many events or much campus life.
On the other hand, Mahindra University seems to have a much better college life and overall exposure. I’ve also heard that they may take students abroad in the 4th year for certain programs/opportunities. But I’m not sure how good the placements actually are compared to KMIT.
Now I’m confused about what to choose.
Should I prioritize placements and go with KMIT, or choose Mahindra University for better college life and exposure?
Would really appreciate honest advice from seniors or anyone who knows about these colleges.

I didn’t score well in EAMCET, so inka hyd lo manchi uni ante first gitam eh ochindhi mind ki.
I wanted to know whether writing the GAT exam is compulsory for admission or if it’s possible to join through management quota/direct admission by paying donation.
Also, how are the placements currently at GITAM? Are they decent for CSE and related branches?
Literally 5am aythundhi and I’m not sleepy, nak edaina rogam ochindhi antara?
Roju atleast 6am aythe kani nidra ratledhu, edaina paniki oche pani chesthunana ante adhi ledhu…reels scroll chesthu untuna.
Emaina ideas iyyandi ayyaa ee sleep schedule fix cheskodaniki 😭
This was a really bad attempt guys. Maths went okay, I focused only on maths and managed to solve quite a few questions. Physics was terrible, and chemistry felt just okay.
Coming to tukka strategies, nothing really worked for me. In maths, I tried methods like eliminating the lowest and highest values etc and marked the rest as B — ended up with 19 marks.
For physics I marked everything as C — got 8 marks.
For chemistry I mostly marked D — got 18 marks.
Anyway, cutting all that short I got a total of 45 marks. I know it’s bad, but is it too bad?
And what kind of rank can I expect with this?
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to decide between KMIT and MGIT for engineering, and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from current students or alumni.
I have the option to join through management quota, and I also have some contacts who can help facilitate the admission process.
My main priorities are:
- College life (campus vibe, freedom, peer group)
- Fests, events, and extracurriculars (how active and engaging they are)
If you’ve studied in either of these colleges (or know someone who has), how has your experience been?
Which one would you recommend overall, and why?
Thanks in advance!
