I was gifted 4 deer legs, can I borax like with rabbits feet?

As title reads, I was gifted 4 legs and plan to preserve them. The legs are a few months old and upon receiving them a couple days ago they were covered in mold, and I’m concerned about what the inside of the legs look like. I sprayed and wiped the legs down with isopropyl alcohol 70% and have been letting them sun dry. I’ve done some rabbits feet by cleaning, drying, and then soaking in borax solution to preserve and they turned out good and not smelly. Can I do deer legs the same though? I see videos of people skinning the legs, doing cast for the inside structure, then sewing the legs back up, but the skin has seemingly dried quite a bit already and may be difficult. Would borax preservation work? Should I skin them and do a casting on the inside? I’m just looking for the most efficient way to preserve and would appreciate any feedback!!

I hope this smash burger is welcome// 2nd photo ingredients

I am not associated with Lacheles fine foods, but they are a local burger joint I frequent as they do random specials every day of the week.

My first post, chipotle Esq barbecue chicken Mac

I’ve been making sandwiches for a few months now and have really been enjoying it. I use ingredients I buy for meals, and try and get creative and just wing the whole process. It’s not the best or prettiest sandwich I’ve made, but it’s the one I made 5 minutes ago and I want to share.

Trying to paint an old lantern for a skull display, what paint to use and how to go about the process?

Hello! I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to post or a silly question, but I thought I’d try, and that hopefully if anyone else has a similar question in the future they find this post. I thrifted this lantern and I’d like to paint it black for a display I’m making. Upon googling the question I am asking I found many answers on different paints to use or different processes (sanding, not sanding, coating afterwards, etc) and I’m so outside of the world of paint I thought I’d ask here. The intent for this piece is to stay inside, and I will be gluing things to the inside. What kind of paint should I use? Do I need to prep the lantern for painting prior to application? Is there any special steps I should take after painting? Any advice would be amazing and the more info the better.
Thank you.
