After 4 weeks I finally got a new pistol from SS. The first one I originally received was not able to cycle a round no matter what ammo I used. I contacted SS and they had me ship the pistol out the same day I shot it which was pretty sweet, I guess there was something really defected with it because they sent me out an entirely new gun.

I was a little bit in the dark during the first 3 weeks because no one from the support team reached out to me with an update on anything until I gave them a call.
I received my new pistol exactly 4 weeks from sending out the defected one, took it to the range and it only had 3 failures with in the first two mags then the next 250rds ran amazing.

I’m glad I stuck with the whole process because their guns are a lot of fun to shoot, I just hope they get better at quality control because a lot of people receive defected pistols. The gun is fully broken in now and shoots great and I hope it stays that way 🤞

Yes I know I’m dumb but for some reason I always thought the Silencer co scythe ti was safe to shoot fast and dump mags here and there just not “full auto” but I recently found out even dumping mags occasionally and shooting fast is not recommended at all. I attached multiple pictures, for people who know a lot about suppressors would you be able to let me know if it is still good or if there is any damage? It was shot out of a SBR mainly super and subsonic 300 Blk

Hello, I’ve seen this person sell a lot of mustangs on eBay motors, I assume he does it for a living and I see his listings all the time (I’ve been researching 1st gen mustangs for a long time) I was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to buy from him or eBay motors in general, thank you!

Been wanting to purchase a g$ SD for a while now, been looking at this listing from gunbroker. Never purchased a gun from their website before.

Any tips or things I should know before going through with it? Thanks.

Before anybody says anything - yes I am aware of their break in cycle, and yes… I did clean / lube the gun thoroughly before shooting.

After prepping the gun for its first day at the range I purchased Shadow System’s recommended ammo - 124gr 9mm Federal to break it in. While at the range I’ve shot approximately 50 rounds and I had to manually extract each spent casing or fix a FTF, FTE and some stove pipes. I was not able to get one round to fully cycle and fire consecutively. Not to mention the slide itself feels very rough and tense, (probably 3x more force needed to rack compared to my Glock 19x slide).

I am currently in the warranty stage now. Fortunately after 8 phone calls and 2 hours of waiting, someone answered. The representative was nice and gave me the option to send in the pistol to be fixed with a turn around time being no longer than 2-4 weeks. So far the experience with warranty has been good and I was able to get it shipped out to them the same day of my range trip.

If you have had similar experiences with SS please share them and let me know if your issues were resolved. I really want to trust this gun and be able to confidently carry it, but it’s going to take a lot of ammo and time for me to feel that way.

Finished building my mixtape already put around 500 rounds through it with no issues besides cycling subs suppressed with the 556 mag it came with.
