I wanted to revisit TG since it was super popular when I was in middle school, and back then I read a few chapters into :re back when it was still releasing. That said, going from an 11 year old reading about Kaneki's torment, I just took it in stride because he was "grown up", but reading it now as a 20 year old, holy shit he really was just a kid at the start of the series and it only rarely lets him catch a breather. Excited to reread and finish it for the first time!
