[UPD] Creative Writing / Film

Hello! I am currently in senior high school and planning to take the upcat next year. But I'm still undecided on what course to take. :(

I'm interested in writing and in the media field as well. I wanted to go for BA Film but I heard it's pricey and I would rather take a similar course instead.

In your opinion, is Creative Writing a good course to take if I still want to be in the film/media industry when I graduate? I could focus on screenwriting also.

Another concern is if it's okay to join a film org even if I won't be a film student? Even if mag Creative Writing ako? (not saying I'm gonna pass—but claiming!)

I would greatly appreciate your opinion!

how can I earn as a student

Problem/Goal:

I'm a student looking for ways to earn money from home or online. I want to save up for a new phone because mine is old, cracked, and barely works.

Context:

I can't really work outside the house, so I'm looking for home-based or online income. I've thought about selling ukay online or writing and selling short fiction, but I don't know if either is worth it. Or how to even start. I also like crocheting and making crafts, but I don't have much free time because of school.

Previous Attempts:

I've searched online for ways to earn, but most ideas need capital, experience, or seem too good to be true. I haven't started anything yet because I don't know what's realistic.

Pls help a young girl out :)

DJI Osmo Pocket or Sony

What should I buy? DJI Osmo is cheaper and has great video quality but then I also want a mirrorless for the image quality. But I am on a tight budget and can only afford P30-35k BELOW. (PH peso)

What's a good choice?

budget camera for film student

Budget: ₱35k below (including a kit lens if possible). Country: Philippines. Condition: Open to both new and used.

Type of Camera: mirrorless/dslr

Intended Use: Primarily videography (short films, school projects, and cinematic content with occasional photography.

Video Style: Documentary, cinematic B-roll, and event coverage.

Must-Have Features: Good autofocus, reliable video quality (4K preferred), flip/articulating screen, microphone input, and decent battery life. Nice-to-Have Features: In-body image stabilization (IBIS), good low-light performance, and USB charging.

Portability: Small enough to carry in a backpack every day.

Cameras I'm Considering: Mostly Sony models like the ZV-E10, a6400, or older Alpha series because I've heard they're great for video and autofocus, but I'm overwhelmed by all the options.

Cameras I Already Have: Nikon DSLR.

Notes: I'm a student on a budget, so I want the best value for videography and a camera that I can keep using as my skills improve. I'd really appreciate recommendations or advice on which model would be the smartest choice.

Legit online stores that sells Samsung phones?

Other than shopeemall, what are authorized online shops that sell legit Samsung phones?

Those who sell S22/S23. Ik there is a low chance because those units are phased out. But any legit stores will do!
