Gimmick or no? Vibrator claims

Ok. So I use a vibrator that I really like. But there is a new one by a manufacturer that claims vibration can damage “already thin tissue” and other sex toys for menopausal women based on suction rather than vibration are better for us. Does anyone know if there’s any truth to this? At the risk of sounding like an ad or bot I am not naming the brand/product because I figure it’s easy enough to look up anyway. I’m leery of products being endorsed for menopause as a gimmick like a gluten free label on a tomato when everyone went gluten free. TIA.

So Crawford or Russell was better as Harriet Craig?

Big Joan Crawford fan here for all things bad girl—and I’d seen her in the 1940s film adaption (it was a play) in Harriet Craig, but Rosalind Russell surprised me playing the cold wife routine in Craig’s Wife in the 30s version. The plots were somewhat different and I appreciated the murder in the version, Craig’s Wife, but I felt the job angle revealed much more of Crawford’s skill in playing a manipulative bitch lol. Hard to decide which one I liked better though. Fun to see Russell in such a serious role. She was quite good. Anyone else compare the two?

Confidential agent!

I feel sure this must have been filmed in London because of the fog, setting. But guys, the fog in back and white film was something special here. And while I like Bacall, I really have a lot of respect for Peter Lorre’s climactic performance here. Boyer is always good too. Fun flick. Not technically noir maybe but the lighting and mood, and Bacall’s fatalistic femme fatale sure was. Highly recommend.

Art deco…without the tour

Planning a staycation to Tulsa (Okc crew here) and I want to see the art deco buildings. I can’t tell if we can get inside the buildings on our own or if we have to pay for a tour. Which buildings are accessible to the public? Is the tour cost really worth it?

What jobs are too small?

I have an event I can’t get to in NYC. It’s a two-day event and I need a PI to go and record audio at the this meeting for a specific speaker. Probably only a 3-4 hour job. How do I find the smaller contractor who would take this on? I don’t live out there in that jungle so I’m clueless.

Disposable vs weighted safety razors

What are your experiences with these weighted safety razors. I’m trying to save a buck and I’m not getting the best results anymore out of disposable razors (quality changes too). Who loves and who hates them and why?

Double Indemnity

Finally got around to watching this movie and I wondered if I’m the only one who thinks Fred MacMurray was ultra cool when he flicked his nail over the match to strike/light them. He did this several times and I just thought it was something that went with the whole idea of a man who has a hidden talent…and a hidden talent for murder too.
