What's up with the number of vehicles that drive at night without light on?

Anytime I drive at night in the Austin area, I'm guaranteed to see at least 1 vehicle without lights on. Sometimes, that's none at all, as it's an older vehicle with no daytime running lights.

I don't understand how it can be like 11PM, starlit black sky, and you still don't have lights on. Even after seeing all the cars around you have lights on.

I can get it if it's a minute and you have a brain fart, and you forget. It happens. But I've always been like "oh shit yeah lemme turn my lights on" when I see other cars with lights and I don't have mine on.

It's literally straight up dangerous. I've honked and flashed high beams at these people, but it doesn't help.

Magsafe cases and wireless charging

Is there any magnetic case that works with the Qi charger? It's hard to believe that any magnetic case will have issues, considering the iPhone has magnets built into the phone itself.

I'm currently using a Pixel 8, and have tried several cases. Such as a dbrand grip, Mous super thin, etc.

Please DO NOT make comments about how inefficient it is, how I should just use a cable etc. I know. I'd like to use it sometimes for shorter trips.

JDM OEM Crown Sport Z wheel on Crown Signia

What do you guys think about putting these wheels on a Crown Signia? I'm getting a limited trim in red with a black roof, so I figure the gloss black wheels should go well with everything. I also plan on doing gloss black Crown badges.

They're from eBay: https://ebay.io/m/Mlbm9I

Steering wheel Crown badge

https://preview.redd.it/nr6cwe160bih1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=4cace001026c78445fc26949e4d20b5589edfad4

I recently saw that this company, Grazio & Co, creates custom badges for various cars in Japan. They also do this alternate Crown badge for the steering wheel.

This is the article I saw it in: https://note.com/grazio2004/n/n94943c80517b?hl=en

In the article, you can see that they don't touch the airbag module, they just pry off the OEM badge from the plastic steering wheel cover, and put on their own.

I wonder if someone could create a similar thing for North American models. Some people have suggested this badge, but it looks terrible in my opinion, nowhere near as good as the above image.

Pixel Weather widget only under work profile?

I recently upgraded to Android 17 on my Pixel 8, and for some reason, the Pixel Weather widget is only showing up under my work profile.

I have it installed on my standard personal profile too, but the widget doesn't show up in the widget menu, only the work profile instance.

Has anyone else seen this and resolved it?

Intake valve cleaning

Is intake valve cleaning a necessary maintenance item on this vehicle, given that it only has direct injection? If so, how often should it be done?

And is this something that can be done at home? I'm someone comfortable doing oil changes on my own, as I've been doing them for a long time.

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid Steering torque

The doc page shows a star under "steering torque" for the Honda Accord Hybrid 2023 - 2025.

Does this mean that this generation of Honda Accord Hybrid no longer has a steering torque limit as I've heard in the past?

[SPB121] [SSC933] [SPB381] Start of a green collection

Started with the Alpinist. Picked up the other two recently.

I have quite small wrists (5.75" or ~14.5cm), and these fit well.

Ever since seeing the Alpinist online as a kid, I fell in love with it and green as a dial color in general. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to get a few green Grand Seiko watches in the future.

The only non-green ones that appeal to me are the SBGA413 (obvious, I know) and the SBGE285.
