Full body aches, pain when moving in general. I feel like I'm tossing myself around like I'm moving a maniquin or something. I know it's the heat that's making it unbearable, but difficult to find help when I can't explain symptoms very well
Im So used to being glued to my phone and I'm trying out some different options. I had got my phone almost a year ago, it has a stylus and is older and I really like it, but I don't want to be glued to it as much.
I bought a DVD player tablet and it was just e waste. Did not work so I returned it and got a onn tablet. It's 11 inches and it's a lot, but I'm hopeful this will help me from being glued to my phone,
I'm worried I will replace one device with another. But this is a better 'mobile gaming' experience and I'm able to use desktop sites as well!!
is the transition from phone only to phone and tablet meant to be this hard?? also still getting used to typing on the much larger screen :((
Been trying to deal with this set up since January. My wife makes 12 an hr. My take home checks are 798 biweekly. We live with her family thankfully, but can barely afford anything. Is there cheaper insurance?

I love the way my 6g 8mm diameter ring looks but I want to go bigger. I have some glass pinchers and single flare my way to get to 4g, but I genuinely can not find any titanium that is 8mm diameter. I'm fine with screw ball, captive bead, even a titanium pincher (not preferred but will suffice).

Anyone else think that the map of panem shows a wildly different size of district than what is mentioned in books? I'm thinking that districts are closer to the size of a town with large groups of wilderness surrounding them to prevent district contact.
I'm rereading catching fire currently and the amount of time that is spent traveling between districts vs district size, along with the fact that districts have mayors and town squares rather than larger governing bodies makes me believe the size is much much smaller than on maps.
Rebellion and escape would also be considered extremely difficult if districts believed the size on maps vs actual size with surrounding forests.
Of course some districts may be much much larger than 12, as mentioned in books but I highly doubt that district 11 for example could be lead by one mayor and congregate even partially in a town square if it was the size of a full state

Edit: my goal is not for miseryporn or exploiting stories of marginalized groups. For the Japanese internment camp time period I mentioned in comments, I genuinely did not learn about it in school, there was a story in a language arts textbook I read in my free time that talked about those camps and a 10 year old girls experience being sent to one. I find it very interesting that even to this day it is censored in American media, literature, and education. A part of being an American is acknowledging the crimes America as a country committed, and I find the lack of education regarding Japanese internment to be really upsetting.
Also I do think queer people need more representation but I'm not trying to make it seem like 10 year olds experience life that adults do. I would just find it interesting to hear more stories from those who were children/teens in or on the outskirts of club kid / ballroom culture (Amanda lepore for example)

Context: my wife wants to visit her girlfriend, I'm fine with that. When they first got together we agreed as a group that when they meet up for a sleepover date, they should meet in the middle, both driving 2 hours to a large city in between so they can have privacy and shorter trip for both of them. There was no issue with that conversation. Due to rising gas prices and our insurance cost going up significantly we, as a household, make much less than we normally do, and I just had a huge unexpected utility bill eat my checking acct and dip into my very small savings.
It is frustrating to me that my wife and wife's gf are adamant about wife driving 4hrs one way, paying the whole way, to see her gf, instead of meeting in the middle first. I am not attempting to control or put my foot down, genuinely I have reason to believe a 4 hr drive in my car would potentially have an issue, and that if anything were to happen with the car, I would have to give my card over the phone to a mechanic to fix it as I have no other vehicle to pick her up in.
I was advised by wife's gf that 'it is normal to be/feel uncomfortable with polyamory and to feel jealous of wife's other partner/s and that shouldn't impact or influence her actions' which... I feel more uncomfortable by.
My wife has a chronic condition managed with medication multiple times a day, she has multiple mental health conditions that are thankfully under control, but while both were being diagnosed and treatment started she has had multiple partners take advantage of her (SA, manipulation, grooming, attempting to cause a divorce to "replace" me in the relationship dynamic). Wife is aware that history of relationship abuse means I am very worried for her safety. I don't see an issue with the gf other than realizing that she has requested to follow me multiple times over the 7 years we have been together and asked about my wife in the past in my own dms. Did not recognize username until recently.
Is it 'normal to feel uncomfortable in polyamory' and is requesting the meet up in the middle of distance in the past, and asking about it in this discussion today wrong? Feel like wife's gf is making me doubt my own relationship and our own discussions
Edits: that are important to know My wife is diabetic, experiences mania and depression, and is going through some med changes and therapy sessions that are causing her to relieve extreme CPTSD. My wife and I are also incredibly poor. We make just above section 8 cut off. Wife's girlfriend has been in the area to visit her family 2 times in the 8 months they've been together, so they were able to hang out coincidentally 2 times. The area we live in is still affected by Helene. Some roads just opened back up roughly 6 months ago. Wife and I are visibly queer and live in the bible belt (important for safety concerns I have). Wife is expected to foot the bill for all travel for this trip, and then stay in a shared bedroom with wife's gf, and wife's gf's wife the whole trip. They will not have alone time at all
