Atualmente to usando meu tempotec v1 como dac no pc, mas sempre q quero aumentar o volume tenho q ficar clicando nos botoes laterais ou ir no icone de volume, clicar nele e aumentar (isso é bem chato pra enquanto to jogando), isso sem contar as vezes q acontece algum bugzinho aqui e ali no sistema do tempotec.

Enfim, potencia não acho q seja um problema, por enquanto só uso iems, n sei se no futuro vou comprar caixas ou algum headphone, mas seria legal n ter dor de cabeça com isso depois. Meu objetivo é bem simples, é só ter uma entrada de fones com boa qualidade, um knob de volume, uma boa construção, relativamente compacto e uma estética legal.

Atualmente consigo pegar ele por uns 380 reais, ta valendo a pena por esse preço? Tem algo mais barato q atue como DAC/AMP e preencha esses requisitos?

I always wanted to explore more of the genre since some animes i really like use "classical instruments" for their soundtracks and my favorite metal guitarist had classical influences in his compositions, but i tend to procrastinate everything i do (including this), but this time i really want to give a shot to it!
I looked up the highest ranked albums in RYM and AOTY, i already listened to Music for 18 Musicians by Steve Reich, Glassworks by Philip Glass, Promises by Floating Points. Right now i'm listening to 1996 by Ryuichi Sakamato and that thing is INCREDIBLE, to be honest all albums that i mentioned were VERY DAMN GOOD.

Anyway, what do you guys recommend me? i don't have any preference since idk nothing about the genre

I know i should look for fit stability, good seal, isolation and comfort, but what defines a good seal to begin with? I'm trying the coffe tips on my daybreak and i found out that the SS is... too small lol, since i don't feel like they "fill" my ear, the Ls stick out too much for me, but both S and M sizes work (apparently) well for me. I feel like the S size can go deeper and the M is a bit shallower, but i feel like both of them "fill" my ear properly, obviously the S one stick out less since it can go deeper but.... yeah.
Btw, i have the impression that my right ear canal is larger, but even so both sizes works good with them. Anyway, how should i chose one of them?

O armazenamento da segunda opção é o msm SSD da 1°, quanto a gabinete, placa de vídeo e fonte pretendo usar oq já tenho aqui em casa. No caso:
Coolermaster K501L, GTX 1650 Asus Tuf, Coolermaster MWE550 respectivamente, placa de vídeo pretendo fazer upgrade so mais pra frente. Entre as 2 configs eu conseguiria pagar qualquer uma delas, mas se eu puder pagar mais barato aceito, n sou de usar o pc pra coisas extremamente pesadas, minha ideia é um pc q dure vários anos e n me de dor de cabeça em relação a desempenho.
Falando em durar vários anos, essa fonte q tenho faz uns 5 anos q to usando, deveria considerar trocar ela tbm ou da pra reaproveitar?

Hoje acho q meu pc decidiu ir de arrasta de vez (final do post contextualizo pra qm tiver interesse).

Meu uso no pc consiste majoritariamente em navegar a internet e jogar alguns jogos coop com amigos (lethal company, phasmo etc), também gosto de jogar rpg single player, pretendo jogar persona 4 revival quando lançar e metaphor qnd comprar por exemplo. Tbm queria jogar FH6 mas isso é prioridade baixa, minha prioridade mesmo seria longevidade e não ter dor de cabeça por uns bons anos (5 pra mais).

**Orçamento:**

Processador posso gastar uns 1000, se tiver melhora significativa posso subir um pouco, placa mãe acho q uns 500-700, memória ram pretendo pegar 16gb em dual channel, sei q os preços tão exorbitantes mas n tem mt oq posso fazer...

Tenho uma gtx 1650 e uma fonte de 550w da coolermaster, hd de 1tb e ssd sata de 240gb

Oq vcs recomendam pra esse tipo de uso? O sistema q uso é Fedora 44 com KDE, caso isso seja importante.

**Pra qm tiver interesse na história:**

Ontem meu pc congelou umas 4 vezes, todas 4 tive q forçar desligamento, algumas vzs ele ligava direto, algumas ele n dava vídeo, mas qnd eu tirava a memória ram e colocava dnv dps funcionava.

Hoje de manhã aconteceu dnv, a diferença é q agora n da vídeo de jeito nenhum, oq du tentei foi:

- Trocar a ram de slot, limpar ela e os slots

- Tentar dar vídeo pelo vídeo integrado do meu Ryzen 3 3200g

- Tirei o hd e ssd pra ver se dava vídeo e entrava na bios (inicialmente minha suspeita era eles considerando q eles tem 5 anos de uso já)

- Tirei a pilha da bios/placa mãe e coloquei dnv

Meu pc sempre foi meio problemático e já aconteceu situações similares, geralmente sempre resolvia trocando slot da ram, limpando ou coisa assim. Caso tenha lido até aqui e tenha alguma ideia de teste q ainda posso fazer pfv me conta.

Currently i'm rebulding my library downloading the majority of my songs through amazon music on squidwtf, there i have the option to download them at AAC 256kbps, opus 320kbps and FLAC. I have ≈ 7000 files currently, but that will go up probably lol, anyway, i want to fit all of this on my 128gb SD card. But if possible i don't want to spend all storage, since i want to have space to expand my library in the future.

I can download FLAC and convert them to something else, but storaging them i think it's out of question, i was thinking in using opus or aac, but idk which is better (compability isn't a issue for me + i don't use apple devices). Anyway, what format would u guys recommend that have a good balance between audio quality and storage usage? Have any suggestions which i didn't mention?

For context, i was trying to EQ a old set of kz zs10 pro x, but idk how to EQ by ear, so i decided to use the graphs on squiglink as a baseline. I know the measurements on B&K 5128 are a lot more precise, but i didn't finde any measurements of it for this iem, so i had to stick with the ones with clone IEC771, but then i compared the graphs of other iem that i have, the Juzear Defiant, and the graphs on both "mics" are VERY different on the treble.

If i'm not mistaken, even the 5128 is not 100% precise past 10k (even tho in this case what i hear aligns with the graph), but what i exactly want to know is:

In the rest of the spectrum, is a clone of IEC711 trustable?
How precise they are compared to the 5128? Can i use the rest of the graph it like a "guide" how i do with 5128?
If even 5128 measurements should be taken with a grant of salt when it comes to treble, how trustable is the treble measurements on IEC711? all graphs of this iem i saw were very similar tho.

Another thing, i saw some videos from headphone show and they talk a lot about HRTF, but what exactly is that? How can i "identify" mine?

First of all, no my phone don't have support for both lineageOS nor grapheneOS unfortunately.
I want to use google services the less possible, i already switched a lot of my email accounts to proton (i'm aware of the controversies, but i chose to stick with them for now), i see myself using my google account only for youtube and because my phone requires to have a google account logged in. I already created a new google acount to use as "throwaway, i intend to use it only for youtube and to connect with my phone, i'm thinking to delete my old account too.

I saw some people changing google play services for microG, but how exactly i do that?
There is a risk of me breaking my phone doing that or some apps/services stopping to work?

I'm still a beginner but i want to have something that i bought with my own money and more suited to the style of music i want to play in the future, right now i own a cheap stratocaster that my dad paid like, 170$ i think.
I'm looking to buy something with a floyd rose bridge, so far i narrowed my options to:

- LTD Black Metal

My main question is how much should i spend on a guitar, based on what i read the "good stuff" starts with the FR1000 series and Gotoh GE1996T, but as a hobbyst player i need to spend that much money to have a good guitar?
How much should i spend to get something good?
Should i buy something cheaper for now and upgrade the parts i need as time passes?
In the long run, it would be worth more for me to buy something more expensive or go upgrading on something cheaper?

My main concern is the tuning stability and longevity of the hardware/guitar, as far as pickups go i watched some comparisons and there is a difference, but in a full mix i don't think this differences are THAT huge.

As for prices go, the Ibanez is 350$ more expensive thant the S by Solar where i live, the other two guitars are double of the price of S by Solar, is that price difference worth it? Which one would have a better balance of cost X quality?

Btw, the Ibanez is the one I like the most aesthetically, followed by S by Solar, if that matters at the end of comparison.

Faz uns 2-3 anos q assisto review de produtos de áudio, no começo era só pq eu achava legal e queria algo bom/aceitavel, mas com o tempo acabei me interessando mais e há alguns meses comprei alguns fones mais caro. Atualmente tenho um zs10 pro x, q foi meu primeiro iem, daybreak, juzear defiant e huawei freebuds 6i. Tbm tenho outros tws, como o soundcore p20i, qcy melobuds pro e um galaxy buds 2 q ganhei junto com meu celular.

Se me perguntarem o pq de eu ter gasto tanto em fone, eu provavelmente diria q foi pq eu queria a melhor qualidade pelo preço, mas oq exatamente define essa qualidade? Eu n saberia responder, acredito q oq as pessoas desse "nicho" gostam é a diferença e pequenas nuancias entre cada fone, e eu acho legal buscar por essas nuancias e formas diferentes de escutar música, mas eu quase não consigo perceber elas, e isso de certa forma me desamina. Por exemplo, eu não consigo perceber diferenças no som q eartips causam, palco sonoro, textura, arejamento, e coisas assim, o único fone q consigo dizer "hm, esse é bem arejado" por exemplo, é o defiant, mas isso é pq ele tem um boost gigantesco nos 13khz.

Outra coisa é q n consigo saber exatamente oq muda de um fone pro outro, vou usar o daybreak e o defiant como exemplo pq é os q tem medição no 5128. As diferenças q percebo entre esses 2 fones é que:
- Defiant tem vocais mais frontais;
- O daybreak tem um som mais cheio e encorpado num geral
- O defiant é bem mais arejado e tem mais agudos
- O daybreak é muito confortável

As diferenças pra mim sao só essas, e eu só consigo perceber elas pq testei os dois lado a lado e pq eu tinhas os gráficos pra saber o que/onde procurar essas diferenças, mas se eu pegar meu freebuds 6i e comparar com o daybreak por exemplo, eu n tenho o gráfico do 6i, e também não sei dizer o que muda de um pro outro, mesma coisa se eu comparar com o zs10 pro x. No fim do dia todos esses fones soam bem pra mim (exceto o buds 2, n gosto dos agudos dele), então q sentido faz eu gastar tanto em fone?

De qualquer forma, vocês acham q identificar essas diferenças é uma questão de treinar o ouvido? A diferença entre cada fone é "exarcebada" em comparativos/reviews e por isso q eu espero ouvir algo a mais? Ou simplesmente meu ouvido é meio ruim e esse hobby não faz sentido pra mim?

Helloo, i play eletric guitar for about one year and a half and i want to buy my first metal guitar for my birthday. Currently i own a Tagima TG520, which costs ≈ $200 here in Brazil, i already searched for some guitars available here, but idk which "road" i should take. For example, should i buy something less expensive, like a S by Solar SB4.6FRFBL or should i go "all in" and get a LTD Black Metal? Should i get something with fixed bridge or with a tremolo?

The majority of songs i listen to don't use a tremolo, but my favorite songs use it, and my favorite guitarist used it a lot (Alexi Laiho), because of that i'm inclined to buy one with a floyd, but idk if it's a good ideia nor if i should buy a budget guitar with one, since based on what i read here and there the only good floyds are the 1000 series and higher and the gotoh. Anyway, i will list some of the options i found interesting and their prices where i live:

Yes i know, these prices looks REDICULOUS (and they are), but anyway. It seems very troublesome to maintain a floyd bridge, but at the same time i want to be able to cover and play the songs i like closer to the original work.

TL;DR: If i want a guitar with tremolo bridge, i need to get something expensive like the Cort or can i get something cheaper? If cheap tremolos are bad, should i stick with guitars with fixed bridge? Is the pickups in cheaper guitars good or i need something more expensive to get a good sound?

Idk if i should use the gear or question flair, but anyway. I found a good promo were i live on the ampero 2 stomp and i'm considering getting it, but after searching a bit i found the focusrite scarlett 2i2 4°gen at the same price, and idk which one would be the best overall. I know i can use the ampero as an audio interface, but it is good as a dedicated audio interface?
Idk yet if i will do live shows in the future, but i want to record covers and compose my own songs, for the vocals i would probably use a Vsynth, but maybe i can learn how to sing in the future who knows? Is it possible to record vocals with a multi effects pedal?

To be honest i'm more inclined towards picking the ampero 2 stomp since i can record with it (i think), and if i do gigs in the future i can use it too. But i'm afraid to make the wrong choice since this stuff is expensive here, and i want to get the best value out of my money. So... which option seems better to you guys?

To pensando em pegar uma Ampero 2 Stomp pra substituir minha cube baby pra aproveitar essa promo q ta tendo no aliexpress, mas queria confirmar se vale a pena antes de eu gastar quase 2k numa pedaleira. Pegando uma interface eu gastaria 1k em média, plugin acho q da pra piratear.

Futuramente quero gravar covers ou minhas próprias músicas, ent eu precisaria de uma interface, mas pelo q vi da pra usar a ampero como uma. Ainda não sei se pretendo tocar sem ser no quarto, mas caso eu vá eu precisaria comprar uma pedaleira mais tarde, gastando mais no longo prazo.

To mais inclinado pra pegar uma pedaleira por causa dessa versatilidade, mas tenho algumas dúvidas.

1- A 2 stomp (ou pedaleiras no geral) são boas de se usar como interface, ou uma interface "dedicada" se sai melhor?

2- Caso eu use ela como interface, eu conseguiria usar os presets salvos nela e gravar com eles?

3- Na mesma faixa de preço tem algo melhor q a 2 Stomp? Sei q tem a valeton gp200, mas meu medo é ela já estar no "fim da vida" já q ta no mercado a bastante tempo. E eu queria algo q durasse bastante tempo e continuasse e recebendo atualizações/suporte.

Um tempo atrás fiz esse post aqui, e acabei decidindo q vo me manter no AM4, mas vou trocar a placa mãe tbm pra garantir q o processador seja compatível com ela (n achei informação sobre a minha AB350 da Colorful), memória ram e placa de vídeo vou esperar pra comprar por enquanto. Enfim, o 5600xt achei na kabum por 1200 e o 5500x3d por 1150 na pichau, ambos a vista no pix.

When I try to open Discord, it opens the main window and also the "Starting" window, but both... just freeze. Like, the main one doesn't load anything, it's gray, and the other one only shows the Discord icon spinning with "Starting". But what I don't understand is WHY, when I connect to a VPN anywhere in the world, it loads normally?

This started happening to me about a month ago, but the funny thing is that it happens RANDOMLY. There are days when it opens normally without a VPN, and there are days when it doesn't. If I turn on the VPN and open the application, and then turn off the VPN and close and open Discord again, IT LOADS NORMALLY TOO.

Ok i already know how to solve the problem, but it's a hassle needing to turn on a VPN JUST to open the app. Anyway, anyone facing this?

Montei meu pc em 2020 mas já to sentindo ele dando umas engasgadas de vez em quando, até mesmo em tarefas do dia a dia. Geralmente eu jogo jogos mais leves, mas as vezes bate uma vontade de jogar algo mais pesado, tipo o forza horizon 6 q lançou agora, mas mal consigo 50fps KKKKKK. Minha config é um ryzen 3 3200g, uma AB350 da colorful, gtx 1650 tuf da asus, coolermaster mwe550, hd de 1tb, ssd de 240gb e como gabinete um coolermaster K501L.

A gtx eu acabei comprando em 2022 por um preço exorbitante, mas é pq eu tava tendo MUITO problema com driver de vídeo na época e o vídeo integrado tbm n tava dando mt conta, ent me obriguei a comprar mesmo assim pra n me estressar mais. Hoje em dia acho q oq mais limita é RAM e processador, mas além, disso a saúde do meu HD e SSD já ta meio nhe, então provavelmente eu deveria trocar isso também. E além disso, acho q minha placa mãe não é lá muito confiável, então não sei se ainda mantenho ela ou se trocaria também.

Com isso em mente to meio confuso no q fazer, n sei se empurro o HD e SSD como ta e ignoro a placa mãe, ou se troco tudo oq citei exceto a placa mãe, ou se troco ela também. Mas dai se eu for trocar a placa mãe, compensaria eu ir pra intel, am5 ou pegar uma placa am4 de novo, mas mais confiavel? Mas também, se for pra trocar tanta coisa não compensaria pegar um pc novo direto?

Minha ideia é algo q dure a longo prazo e n me deixe na mão, mas ao msm tempo queria gastar o mínimo possível. Provavelmente to pedindo de mais considerando os preços de hoje em dia, mas oq vcs fariam/comprariam nesse caso? To meio desatualizado no mercado de hardware inclusive.

Só pra contextualizar: atualmente tenho um dongle genérico com chip cx31993, mas n gosto mt de usar ele pq por causa do ângulo q ele fica conectado no pc as vzs o som da uma cortada, então eu uso o meu tempotec V1 como dac e amp, mas dai vem mais um problema. As vezes quero mexer no meu cartão SD q ta nele, dai preciso sair do modo dac pra poder acessar os arquivos, eu poderia só tirar o cartão e usar um adaptador no pc? Sim, mas ficar tirando e colocando a capinha q uso nele é meio chato.

Minha ideia seria meio q prender ele em baixo da mesa, só quero ter uma entrada pra fones com uma qualidade decente, q dure bastante tempo e seja conveniente. Vcs tem alguma recomendação baseado nisso? N sei se tem algo q atue como Dac e Amp na casa dos 250 reais, se for só dac acho q n tem problema já q meus fones são fáceis de empurrar.
