Do I have to keep unlocking aircraft to progress?

Do I have to keep unlocking aircraft to progress?

Been sitting on these unlocks forever. Not a huge fan of any of these, but I feel like I probably *have* to unlock one of them to keep progressing my hangar. Is this one of the "gotchas" where you're forced to spend to unlock more, or is it normal to hit a lull in the game where it takes forever?

Eff you, Honda. So much for reliability

Whatever happened to these things running forever? 2016 Odyssey, barely over 10 years old, only 97k miles. Found out about the VCM issue too late. Car sprung the P0301 error today and the spark plugs are fouled, they recommend replacing the piston rings and spark plugs ($5.5k). Multi-point also shows leaking oil pump ($3.4k) and rear right spring seat is torn ($700). Yes, these are dealer prices, but still. And....this doesn't even take into account the tailgate failure and the sliding door cable failure last year ($2k). Might as well dump it and get a new damn car at this point.

I see on the VCM threads that everyone says do NOT replace the piston rings, and to just replace spark plugs and use the VCM muzzler. Is that still the right play here? I do not want to be nickeled and dimed to death by this effing car. /end rant/

Eero Pro 7 constantly rebooting

For months it seemed to be stable, but In the last few weeks I've noticed our Eero rebooting at least 10 times a day (conservatively). It updated the other day to 7.15.1 and it's still not stable. The Eero is fed by our spectrum cable modem, and if I go hardline to my laptop it's fine. Nothing has changed to my knowledge and it started as plug and play so I'm stumped. Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Does it ever make sense to upgrade an array?

Question for the group - does it ever make sense to upgrade an existing solar array? For background/context -- I'm in San Diego (screw SDG&E!) and I purchased a 14 x 290W panel array at the end of 2015 and it seemed to carry us through the year with a NEM true up of about $500 until about 2024 when it shot up to $1,000. I'm ignorant to how much work is involved, if something like this is even feasible, etc. If the home is already "pre-plumbed" for solar, the mounts are already up there - is it as simple as putting new inverters and panels up there? Does it not make sense because of the changes to NEM and loss of Fed incentives? Solar array details:

  • Panels = Sunmodule Plus SW 290 mono (66" x 40")
  • Inverters = Enphase M250-60-2LL-S22

Let me preface this with I've had a bunch of appointments over the last 6 months (primary care optometrist, ophthalmologist) and a handful of tests/workups (MRI, blood, etc.) and absolutely nothing came back pointing to a clear cause of my flashing lights. My primary care doc said it's likely an ocular migraine.

Now to the point - I have daily flashes in both eyes after my morning run. They appear shortly after my run is over (only once have they occurred during my run) and they look almost like a flashing & spinning pinwheel of sorts in each eye. No pain or headache whatsoever. After about 5 minutes they're gone. My doc said given my test results there should be no cause for concern and it's likely something I just have to unfortunately live with.

Anyone else out there experiencing this type of thing daily? Any other causes/thoughts/suggestions for a different test or doctor to try?
