I have a Merida Silex in size M, and I was wondering if it’s the correct size for me. I’m 180 cm tall with an 83 cm inseam.
The bike currently has a 70 mm stem, 165 mm cranks, a 0 setback seatpost, and the saddle is positioned almost all the way forward.
Sorry for pedaling backwards. At the moment, it’s the best I can do.

Bought this bike for a very reasonable price. After spending the last couple of years riding gravel bikes, I immediately swapped the tires for Schwalbe Pro One 38c. Even so, I still feel this bike is a bit too delicate for my riding style and not really suited for anything beyond pavement. I ride on pavement about 95% of the time, but I still find myself thinking about going back to a gravel bike.
Do you think €2,200 was a good price for a new Defy Advanced 0? I also changed the tires to 38mm, swapped the crankset from 172.5mm to 165mm, and installed a Ryet saddle, bringing the total to €2,530.
