Why does one room stay cold even when the rest of the house is warm?

We've lived in our house for a few years now and every winter it's the same thing. The whole house feels fine except for one bedroom that's always noticeably colder. At first I thought it was just how the house was built, but now I'm wondering if it's something that can actually be fixed. The room has older windows and it's also on the side of the house that gets a lot of wind.

for those with older Toronto homes, what ended up being the cause when you had a room that was always colder than the rest of the house?

Has anyone actually gotten compliance to sign off on AI for underwriting?

We started testing a few AI tools for CRE underwriting a while back and I thought model accuracy would be the biggest debate. Turns out it wasn't even close...

The bigger challenge has been compliance, security, legal, and basically everyone who gets nervous when borrower financials are involved.

Every discussion eventually comes back to data residency, VPC deployment, vendor reviews, where the data sits, whether documents leave our environment, and so on. Anyone here get one of these platforms approved at scale? Or is AI still mostly living in demos, pilot programs, and internal experiments?

What are the best conversational AI tools for qualifying insurance leads?

I spent part of last week calling leads that looked promising in the CRM. A surprising number had already stopped responding before I ever got to them. That's what got me looking at AI qualification tools. Not because I want to replace agents, but because I feel like we're spending too much time figuring out who's serious and who's just shopping around

What couch fabric is best if you have dogs that shed?

I made the mistake of buying a couch based entirely on how it looked. Big mistake…

The fabric basically grabs dog hair and refuses to let go. Vacuuming helps for a day, maybe. Sometimes less. Now I'm wondering if there are actually fabrics that handle shedding well or if every dog owner eventually gives up and live with it.

What's been your experience?

How can I automate follow-ups to old leads my reps never contacted?

I was reviewing our CRM recently and realized we had hundreds of old leads that never really got followed up with properly. Some were assigned and forgotten, others got one generic email months ago and that was it. I’m curious how teams are handling this at scale. Are people automating re-engagement somehow, or is this still mostly manual cleanup work?

My Bengal screams nonstop in the car and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore

I really need urgent advice from Bengal owners.

A while ago I asked here about neutering age for my Bengal and ended up neutering him at 7 months because so many people recommended it, so thank you for helping me with that decision.

Now I have another problem that honestly feels much worse.

I got this cat partly because I wanted a travel companion for road trips, but every time he gets into the car he starts meowing almost nonstop. Today we drove for 6 hours and he cried basically the entire ride. We tried letting him walk around the car, keeping him inside his travel backpack, stopping for breaks, talking to him, trying to calm him down, but nothing really changes.

I honestly ended up with a horrible headache after this trip and I’m starting to panic a bit because soon I’ll have much longer drives planned, around 10 hours a day for several days.

He’s only 7 months old, very active and vocal in general, but in the car it becomes extreme.

Please tell me what ACTUALLY worked for you if you managed to solve this with your Bengal. Medications, calming products, training methods, toys, routines, literally anything. Today I even tried gabapentin and it barely helped.

I would seriously appreciate real advice because right now I genuinely cannot imagine doing multi day road trips like this.

I have a 7 month old Bengal boy and I’m not sure if now is the right time to neuter him.

The main issue is that I’m leaving for a 3 month trip in about 30 days, so if I don’t do it now, I probably won’t be able to for quite a while.

I keep hearing different opinions. Some people say 7 months is a perfectly normal age, while others say Bengals should mature a bit more first.

Lately I’ve noticed his hormones are definitely starting to kick in. He grabs toys, wrestles with them, and tries to hump them sometimes.

For Bengal owners or experienced cat owners here, when did you neuter your cat? And in my situation, would you do it now or wait?

I’ve been looking at wedding bands recently and noticed a lot of couples go for matching sets or his and hers styles. At first it seemed really cute, but now I’m not sure if it’s something that actually feels right long term or if people end up wishing they chose something more individual.

For those who are already married, did you go with matching bands or something different? Do you still like that decision now?
