Collecting thoughts - My first keyboard design

Hesitant on whether to post as I have been lurking for a while and I love the cyberdeck projects here! However, I'm working on a keyboard kit for ESP32s, Arduino's and Pi's. The goal is:- a flat and comfortable (non clicky) design keyboard. With an array of key pad color options and programmable MCU for custom key input.

As I'm still at the verge of starting; The keyboard is the first project - and I'm looking to add more devices down the road; hence the request for your thoughts.

ESP32 T-Display trying to game

I was curious if gaming on a tdisplay was possible. I figured it absolutely is. The 1.93inch screen, tho tiny has it's charm and this is something I would absolutely take out of my pocket to spend a couple minutes on.

I'm still working, to make the game more interesting, a battery and aluminum housing is what is up next.

Now, what you think? Is it a yay or nay?

Star Citizen x GBA style game

With AI getting better almost each week. I feel the spacesimgames genre is growing. Although most of it just being small projects, I was wondering if there is something out there or in current development that is a RPG (maybe even pokemon style) that allows to buy ships, do deliveries, mine and travel to multiple planets, with bossfights to gain xp and earn cash to waste on upgrades, comodities and other items.

I'm a big star citizen fan and I know that cramping a game into lightweight format while still enjoyable to play is not something super straight forward.

Just looking for something that can be played handheld on the plane or on the couch for hours.

Sidenote: my apologies upfront in case this question has been already raised or missed a post that specifically covering this.

Owl at Café Henri building

I saw an owl on the Café Henri building today at 14:55. I did not know we even have them here. It looked fake until I saw it move.

Sorry for the bad video quality.

Slow due to updates

I know this is a budget-friendly Samsung TV (UN50TU7000FXZA), so before anyone says “what do you expect?” — hear me out.

Over the past few months, the performance has degraded to an extreme amount. Navigating menus, opening sources, adjusting settings — everything takes several seconds to in some cases a minute to respond. I’ve done multiple full factory resets, disconnected external devices, and made sure nothing else that would cause some form of slowdown.

Now my suspicion is that the TV has been updated automatically, and with each update, it feels slower. I never asked for these updates, and there’s no way I’ve found to fully disable them. It’s gotten to the point where the TV feels intentionally crippled — almost like software-induced obsolescence.

I’m not expecting flagship performance from a budget TV. But I am expecting it to work as it did when I bought it. A smart TV shouldn’t feel unusable just because Samsung pushed a few “stability” updates.

Has anyone else with this model (or similar Samsung budget models) noticed the same thing? Any way to actually block updates or roll back to an older firmware that didn’t suck?
