How long, really, can you leave your battery unused?

I know this is all my fault, and I also know I can find out for sure by just testing my battery. That said, the short version is that I have an XP Lite that has sat in storage unused for two years. The battery has been stored separately and has not been touched for that entire time.

I'm at a point where I will be using an ebike more regularly and am wondering if it's worth buying a new battery for my Lite or if I should upgrade to a new model. Just curious if anyone has ever been able to use their battery after being neglected like mine for so long. I will note that the battery has been kept indoors in dry, room temperature, but I know that isn't the main factor.

Anybody in/near Belltown have moving boxes?

I am moving from Belltown to a place a few blocks away. Unfortunately I do not have a car, so the only way I can get boxes for the move is to get them online and have them delivered, or see if anyone nearby would have any they want to get rid of. I could come pick them up if you're close, or work something out if someone wants to drop them off.

The Jasmin fixation here may not be productive

I know people work through their journey out of mormonism in their own way, so I'm not advocating for this topic to be banned or anything extreme. I just wanted to share a thought regarding the apologist that so many posts here are focusing on.

I am not on social media anymore (besides reddit if you want to count that), and all my context around this Jasmin person is this subreddit. I haven't watched her videos and know almost nothing about her.

But what I'm seeing is a sharp uptick in posts about her, with members of this sub getting very hurt, angry, or otherwise emotionally charged as a result of the things she is saying. If you want to feel these feelings, that's okay; leaving the church is emotionally draining and super difficult. I get that!

But I think it's important to remind ourselves that there's nothing to gain from arguing with apologists. The church will have its cheerleaders and propaganda secretaries for as long as it's around, and I want to gently remind everyone that it's okay to ignore them if that's what feels right to you.

Wherever you are at in your journey, it's important to check in with yourself and evaluate what is worth your attention and energy. If entertaining apologists and allowing them to steal your peace leaves you feeling exhausted and upset, it's okay to simply tune them out.

Hopefully this helps someone.:)

EDIT: Leaving this up so others can be aware. Yes it's a scam, yes I learned a lesson. Hopefully keeping this post up for visibility will help protect other Mariners fans.

Hey everyone. I was at the game on Friday and upon entering the park, right before security, an employee was handing out little cards with QR codes on them. They were for a raffle to win a signed Mariners jersey. I thought cool, why not?

I got a text this morning from someone at "NW Giveaways". The text had an image of the same card I got at the park and said they had good news and to call them back. It also had a claim code in the text.

I called the number and they asked for the code from the text. I gave it to them and they said that while I'm still in the running for the signed jersey, they picked ten raffle entries for a free trip to either Vegas or SoCal, and I am one of them.

I immediately thought it's too good to be true. The lady said their office is in Tukwila and in order to claim the free trip, my partner and I need to go to their office for a 90 minute presentation. She said there would be no purchase necessary, I just have to sit through it and I'd be sent out the door with the necessary tickets/documents.

She said she has an open slot tonight and tomorrow. She wasn't being pushy, but she acted with some urgency and said if we come this week, they'll throw in tickets to some attractions. I said I'd have to talk to my partner and wrapped up the conversation.

My head is telling me this is some sort of scam, or at the very least, a thinly veiled sales pitch that will have undisclosed strings attached. But then I think, why would the Mariners and/or T-Mobile Park be working with an illegitimate or shady organization?

It all just feels very odd. I wasn't able to find much info about this NW Giveaways company online either. I'm probably just not going to bother calling them back. Sure, a free trip would be cool, but my time is also valuable and I have no interest in traveling down to Tukwila to listen to a salesman try to push travel packages on me for an hour and a half.

This feels like a bait-and-switch and I'm pretty unimpressed with the Mariners going with this. I didn't enter a raffle for a vacation package, I entered for the signed jersey that was advertised. Now I'm being pitched something completely different.
