Why is the wifi in the library so bad? This is supposed to be the place where we do work and i can’t even open a website!! It’s been especially bad this semester. Extremely frustrating…

Oi gente!

Hey! Not sure if this is allowed on this sub but I have been wanting a hobonichi for a while and I am starting a new school year as a teacher. I wanted to try out the hobonichi cousin to see if I like it as my lesson planner but I can’t justify the price for a new planner this late in the year, especially since I would just be trying it out.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has a cousin that’s either January or spring start or the second half of the avec(doesn’t matter to me), that they don’t want anymore/tried out and decided they didn’t like it. I really don’t mind if it has stuff written in it already(you can rip out the pages if you don’t want me seeing your plans and stuff). Of course I would be willing to pay, probably around half(or a little more) of the original price of the planner. Please DM me if you have one! I’d need it within the next three weeks. And thank you!

Guys I think i just had a breakthrough. Is Quest Labs/Quest Industries a reference to Jonny Quest? I know mystery inc loved a good hanna-barbera reference so is this one of them or is it just a fun coincidence?

I wish the show made merch of that locket, it’s been my dream to own something like that and I’m shocked they didn’t capitalize on that. If anyone knows of someone who makes them/is willing to take on a custom order of this kind please let me know!! (Side note, this series is the best scooby doo series oat!!!)

I just saw the national tour of The Sound of Music at the Pantages in Hollywood. It was hands down THE BEST touring show I have seen in a LONG TIME. I think the last production I enjoyed this much that was so well done was Wicked in 2018. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL. All the children were incredible, Christiane Noll was just mind blowing as Mother Abess. Not to mention Cayleigh Capaldi and Kevin Earley as Maria and Captain. Everyone had unique voices and it wasn’t the same infamous “BFA belt” I’m so used to seeing nowadays. Not to mention the acting and beautiful set. If you haven’t been able to see the national tour of Sound of Music, I HIGHLY recommend you go if possible. I’ve never been more blown away.

My only complaints are that they shut the curtain on Mother Abess during both acts, let her have her moment!! And whoever was running the sound board kept the children’s mics too low and kept forgetting to unmute them during their lines, but that’s at the fault of the theatre and not the production itself. I’ve noticed this issue at past performances at the Pantages.
