What to do 🙏? Unemployed and living away from home.

I have been unemployed for 2 months now.

I paid the first month of rent and expenses by myself but I'm just fresher who did a contractual role for 4-5 months and didn't have savings. So I have to ask for money from my parents now.

I can't ask them for money anymore and this phase of unemployment is really bad.

can't go home, even though my parents are saying come back home so I can save expenses.

I don't want to be unemployed and at home is a disaster.

I apply somewhere and hope they will call me for interview but never happens.

currently I'm also Pursuing ACCA.

what to do? don't want to go home.

Should I go for interview?

I recently applied to forvis mazar audit associate 1, I'm an ACCA p level student.I'm a 2025 graduate, and I worked at ey gds as an audit consultant ( contractual role during audit season)

I cleared my assessment round and had 3 interviews the same day at the office of gurgaon.

I'm still not sure about this opportunity

my concerns -

I will have to travel 3-4 hrs from my home to gurgaon and back after the interview 3-4 hrs.

they are offering 3.5lpa

Joining date will be in September ( 3 months from now) I can't be unemployed for that long I have expenses.

what should I do should I go for interview ? travel? expense? have AAA and AFM exam in June first week ACCA.

EY GDS deny to sign PER for contractors this year 🥲

I served as audit consultant at EY GDS contractual role for 4 months. In the end, gds ACCA spokesperson denies that they are not signing our per.

Last year they signed though...

I am thinking of asking one acca person I know in the audit department at gds itself ( region is different I'm in Canada, she is in the UK). I hope I won't create any issues for her because one of my friends who faced the same situation got it signed off from one known senior and suggested the same to me.

any suggestions guys 🙂

I served as Contractor this audit season at EY GDS. it's been a month since I'm unemployed. I got an offer from Grant Thornton GT Global Audit delivery team.

But my heart still wants EY GDS. Senior mentioned that they will rehire you probably after 1-2 months as per your feedback and requirement.

what should I do ? Accept GT or wait for GDS offer

My worries - What if I accept the GT offer and later receive offer from EY too? or vice versa

I currently work as an Audit associate 1.

Accepted this as the job market is harsh.

i didn't like audit, it was very repetitive, too much of accountability, loads of manual work even with latest ai software.

I want to work in FP&A or M&A in the future not in audit.

how easy or hard is the transmission from core assurance to the finance side ?

Anyone who has done it ?

Been applying for a job since March, No luck

p.s. Role with EY was Contractual

Changed my resume format. is it ATS friendly?

Different Ats resume checkers provide different numbers. on one it says 75, the other says 80 or 95

At the end of the interview, when the interviewer asks do you have any questions for me?

Asking such questions like

- What a perfect candidate will be like for this position ?

- What will be expected of me if I get selected ?

****more questions mentioned in the image attached******

I am fresher, Asking these questions in interviews makes me feel what if they think I'm overconfident that I will get this job

🤔🤔 What do you think? Are these questions appropriate? Any other good questions suggestions.
