Another one.. '18 Head Gasket

Welp, add me to the list. 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Limited bought used with 30K 6 years ago now at 73K. Cylinder 1 misfire, running sluggish and a little rough at idle. Stopped using it and pulled plug 1 and checked cylinder 1 to find a small amount of coolant inside the cylinder. Coolant reservoir was bit low. Put Blue Devil pour and go head gasket sealer hoping to keep this one running for a while. Looks to have worked. Check engine light has stayed off this week but still a bit rough at idle and acceleration.

Changed plugs and coils, all plugs looked like dog crap, cylinder 1 & 2 looked to be burning coolant. After gasket sealer cylinders 1 and 2 are both coolant free. Changed coolant reservoir, cleaned intake manifold, throttle body and EGR which looked pretty bad. Put 0W20 Valvoline Restore and Protect and a bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner and she purrs like a kitten, super smooth idle and acceleration. Coolant temps running 210-230, which I don't like so I'll be changing the thermostat this week.

Moral of the story... Stay on top of maintenance and try and be pro active. Do the spark plugs and coils early and check for any active head gasket leaks.

Fortunately I didn't't have any smoking from tail pipe, or frothy l chocote milk oil, so I believe in my case the gasket sealer has helped. Of course it's a temporary fix until I can drop a Hellcat engine into this thing lol 🤣

Motorcycle riding season

Might be moving to Kalispell area from Texas. When does the riding season begin/end? Is motorcycling popular in the Kalispell area?

CS Racing Exhaust Install

Finally received my CS racing exhaust! Took about 5 weeks, but definitely worth the wait. DHL got it here quick, a day early which gave me time to install before the workweek. Pushed the bike into the living room and got to work, cuz hot. 🔥 🥵

CS packaged the exhaust extremely well. All parts and welds were beautiful. Install was relatively easy. And oh my... the sound is absolutely bonkers, that first start up brought absolutely joy and a grin from ear to ear. It's so damn loud lol, I put the baffles in to quiet it down some and it's perfect now. Still lots of rumble and growl.

CSR did a great job designing this, it blends right into the bike. Definitely a recommend especially for the price, not cheap but a good value for what you get.

Ride safe! ✌️

Zippo with some Triumph mods.

Didn't do much riding yesterday, decided to put the laser to work. Kind of new to this stuff but it came out decent I guess. Might make the Trident portion a bit larger.

Cheers!

Joined team Triumph

Hey all, I picked up a '26 Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition. My first Triumph after years of riding Hondas. Man I really love the look of this bike and really most of the Triumph models. The amount of extra specs they put in the '26 model year was quite insane for the price point.

I was originally looking at the Trident 800, but damn, that insurance was 2.5x the cost of the 660 at about $1500 a year for full coverage. I know the 800 is no doubt the better bike but, I just couldn't pull the trigger on it because of that.

The Tribute colors are wild and instantly sold me on it. I'm used to riding Honda red and was just ready for something different and new. So it was time to change it up.

I think it's going to be an amazing commuter/weekend bike. Super comfy, peppy even in the lower RPMs (break in period), loads of options, killer style. Yeah it's good to be back on 2 wheels with an amazing machine

Need to get better pics...

Oh yeah and AF1 Racing in ATX rocks!

Cheers!
