Matty Collector Figures and Props

Just curious - would any collectors out there be interested in the Matty Collector figures? I have most of them, still in the packaging. I’ve even got the SDCC Egon that was slimed.

I’ve also got all the props. Now that I have the Hasbro props, I don’t see a big reason to keep the Matty’s.

Curious to hear your thoughts. Is that stuff sellable or would it be better to just hold onto it all?

Thanks!

The new Donatello is just sick. Coolest TMNT figure I’ve ever owned.

I am blown away by Donnie. He is AWESOME. This is one of the coolest figures Mondo has ever made, hands down.

The jump in quality from the last turtles line is just insane. I thought the markup compared to the original figures was a little wild, but now seeing Donnie in person I think it’s justified.

For my 40th Bday, I did one of the most difficult hikes in my life. Table Mountain near the Grand Teton National Park. 7,000 feet to 11,500 feet over 5 miles or so.

Felt great. This was a big accomplishment. The past few years have been ortho surgeries, a lot of rehabbing from them, and frustration of not being able to do everything I once could. Turning 40 and being able to handle this feels good. I may not be in my prime, but I’m still plenty capable.

Big kudos to my wife - she trained her ass off to be ready for this and she absolutely killed it.

First and Last Sale on Poshmark

I tried to sell my Lucky Brand leather jacket. I gave this guy a great deal and let it go for $150.

What happens? The dude claims I didn’t send the right size, then takes photos of another item that I clearly didn’t send. Complete scam bullshit.

This was my first and last time. Hope this asshole enjoys the jacket. If you’re such a piece of shit you have to con someone out of $150, your life must suck.

Original Eleanor Twitty Design by Bernie Wrightson?

There is a claim that the Gray Lady was redesigned after initial test audiences screened the original move.

Bernie Wrightson helped design her original version, and even gave here a speaking line (Quiet!). His design revolted audiences so they made her less grotesque.

Does anyone have any pictures of the original design? I’d love to see it.

1984 Pack No Sound

My pack stopped making sounds.

it let out this horrible screech, so I turned it off and cut the power supply. When I tried to restart it, it no longer makes sound.

Has anyone else run into this?

Is a weapon mounted range finder worth it?

Sup y’all?

I am thinking of getting a Vortex Impact. I’ve been thinking through good applications for it and can see it being clutch in the unknown distance sniper matches I do. What about hunting?

Do any of you hunt with one? How has your experience been? Does it make it a lot easier than glassing with binos?

Anything you can share would be helpful.

Is GlobalGolf a Scam?

Ordered a used rescue back on May 16 from these guys.

I still haven’t received it. After a lot of back and forth, they apologized and said “no worries we will overnight it!”

They overnighted me a headcover with their branding on it. No club. Now the order is showing delivered on their tracking.

This really feels like a scam. Should I start a chargeback?

Happy Friday! What’s your win for this week?

TGIF!

What kind of victory did you guys have this week?

I just had the largest commission check of my career so far deposited in the bank this morning. 40% taxes really sucks, but that’s out of my control. I now have a new goal to make a 6 figure commission check as my next milestone!

Do all truck drivers suck?

I was at the bank and this guy pulls in next to me and parks. He went inside and I went in a few minutes later. When I entered, I said “nice parking job man”.

Instead of acknowledging his mistake or anything normal, he decides to buck up and double down, calling me a smartass. I came back with ‘better a smartass than a dumbass’. After that, he didn’t have much.

Why do people in trucks act so fucking obnoxious? Like just be a decent person and admit when you make a mistake. It isn’t that hard.

Thankfully the person to my right left, giving me room to get out.

If you know the guy who drives this truck, maybe talk to him and convince him to chill out a little. Escalating by calling people names is not the way to go.

What is a vacation to you?

My wife says I’m a weirdo so I want some outside perspectives.

An ideal vacation to me is an adventure and something challenging. An example is doing a brutal hike somewhere exotic to us (we are in SC). In an upcoming one we are going to Wyoming and doing a 4,000ft climb starting at 7,500 ft of elevation. I basically like to do things that require training.

The ultimate satisfaction is completing a really hard objective and knowing my commission enabled everything that went into it The feeling of accomplishment for all the stuff I did leading up to it - training, eating right, sleeping right, making money all comes together at once. I also like unplugging and going off grid

My wife says you should never have to train for a vacation and I’m weird.

What do you think?

I drew tags and can’t wait!!!

This will be my first time in NM.

Does optifade subalpine or kuiu valo break up your outline more in the high desert? I am starting to plan and have kits in both. I’d be happy if I didnt have to get new stuff.

Hey ya’ll. Hope you’re doing great.

I drew tags in NM for rifle this year! I’m beyond amped. I’ve been looking at forums and videos, but wanted to see if anyone would be willing to share their first hand experience in hunting out there.

I’ll be going to unit 12 and am using a guide from LOH Outfitters.

Looks like the terrain is mostly rolling hills with canyons. Is that accurate? How far are the average shots in NM?

Anything you can share would be appreciated!
