Help

Hi everyone,

I’ve applied for the B.Tech undergraduate program through the college website for Round 4. I know it’s quite late in the admission process, but I wanted to check if there are still any chances of getting a seat. My percentile in MHT-CET is approximately 84. Based on the previous rounds/cutoffs, could anyone suggest which branches I might have a realistic chance of getting in Round 4?

Also, when are we going to receive the offer letter for round 4, if anyone has contacted the college department? Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Help regarding counselling!

Hey everyone,

I had kept the ENTC and ENCS branch of TCET in my preference list. But I'm kind of shocked to see the inflation in percentile. I've achieved a percentile roughly around 84! Will I be able to get either of them in further rounds? (Belong to Hindi Minority).

College Options

Hey everyone, I've secured 84 percentile in MHT CET. I just wanted to know which colleges I can secure with this percentile in mumbai, pune and nashik? The most suitable option right now according to me is TCET [ENTC] (As I belong to Hindu Linguistic Minority). But I wanted to know what other colleges I can get via CAP? Also, is KJSCE ENTC possible at this percentile if I apply directly through their website by filling the application form?

Thank you!

Confused!

Hey there, I've secured approximately 84 percentile in MHT CET and I also belong to the minority. So the best possible shout for me via CAP rounds will be ENTC! (Maybe ENCS). But on this subreddit, I just keep seeing negative comments about the college (Bad placements, companies blacklisting the college et cetera) which makes it quite confusing!

Can anyone please tell the actual reality of the college? Also I think this is the best option for me considering that percentile (Although if you have any suggestions regarding any other college then do let me know). Thank you!

Help regarding NIOS Practical Exams!

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to appear for NIOS public examination being held next year in April, but I honestly know almost nothing about how NIOS practicals work.

I wanted to ask a few basic doubts:

  • Which practicals do we actually have to write?
  • From where do students prepare or make the practical files/projects?
  • Does NIOS provide the format or do we have to make everything ourselves using youtube or any course?
  • How often does NIOS call students to their study centre?
  • What exactly is PCP (Personal Contact Program) in NIOS? Is it compulsory to attend? How many classes are usually held?

Any guidance from students who have already gone through it would really help! Thanks.

Urgent!

Hello everyone.

I passed my Class XII via CBSE in 2025. As my percentage was not up to the criteria, I applied for improvement for all the five subjects this year. But as I got my result, the scores were even less than previous ones and even got rt in one or more. going to take admission this year in a state college, but at the same time I'll be preparing via partial double drop for entrance exams. So, I had few doubts:

1. Am I eligible for NIOS board as a fresh candidate?

2. Can I carry forward marks from my very first marksheet of 2025, or I'll have to appear for all the subjects again via NIOS?

3. Will this marksheet be accepted by JOSAA, by the college I get and during placement?

4. As I'll be joining college, so how hard is it to manage with the practical exams?

5. Is the syllabus combined 11+12?

6. As October's registration are closed. Should I apply for ODE or for the next session in April? Also does the marksheet of the April session come before the JOSAA counselling starts?

Lastly, if you can please help me with any study channels for NIOS there on YouTube or any resources present.

Please do take your time to answer this, it'd be really helpful!

Hey everyone,

I wanted some honest advice.

I scored 66% in my first attempt of Class 12 boards in 2025. I gave improvement exam as a private candidate recently, but honestly, it doesn’t look like my percentage will increase much.

Right now, I might join a state college, but I’m also considering a partial drop (preparing again alongside college).

My main question is:

  • Can I give Class 12 again through NIOS while doing a (second) partial drop?
  • Will NIOS marks be considered valid during college placements later or if I take admission in any other college?

I’m trying to improve my overall profile and keep options open, so I don’t want to make a decision that backfires later. Would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has gone through something similar or knows how this works.

Thanks!
