Meta flagged my 1.2M Facebook Page for “Inauthentic Engagement” and is withholding ~$10,000 in earnings. Any legal remedies in the Philippines?
Hi everyone,
I run a verified Facebook Page with 1.2M followers.
Meta recently restricted my page’s monetization for alleged “Inauthentic Engagement.” I was not given any appeal or review option, and my earnings were placed on hold.
The amount currently affected is approximately $10,000 USD (around ₱580k+).
As far as I know, I have never purchased followers, likes, views, or engagement.
I’ve seen reports from users in other countries who were able to resolve similar issues through formal complaints, demand letters, or court actions, but I’m not sure what options are available in the Philippines.
I’m mainly trying to understand:
\* What legal remedies may be available in the Philippines?
\* Would this fall under small claims or a different type of action?
\* Are there government agencies that handle disputes involving foreign platforms like Meta?
I’m not looking for legal representation here, only general legal information and guidance.
Thank you.
