Hi every one. I would like to ask if threre is any info or lore bit about streaming parts of spaceships of the spacehulk.
I am trying to write a story and part of it is kind of heist to broke one of the outer imperial ship of the hulk.
A unknown space hulk appeared recently in neighbouring solar system to my chapters homeworld. After the first scouting was done, and information about a strike cruiser of unknown chapter was most likely the newest addition of the hulk. Chapter master asked their nearby forgeworld if it would be possible to broke of this cruiser from the hulk body and reclaim it for the chapter ( my chapter is very new and have only few ships left (3-4) after an enormous lost battle where they were almost wiped out). So every possibility even very risky is on the table for them now.
I would like the story to continue with the admech actually agreeing (after they found out a very old admech ship is also a part of this hulk ) to try and get the cruiser off the hulk. Of course their priority is their own goal but if that is done they will try to get the cruiser too. The mission most likely won't end well and I have the plan for the cruiser to actually be reclaimed but not in one piece :D and probably put some other roadbump into it. Likely the reason why it became the part of the hilk in the first place.
What do you think about it ? How likely it is that admech would even try this ? And would it be okay to do that ?I knwo Robutte told every chapter to build new ships and not to reclaim old ones but my chapter is kinda desperate. A lot of enemies left and chance to rebuild is very slim. Also the forgeworld isn't doing it just by pure heart. They know very well that it's enemies are wast in this region and my chapter is the last left to protect it at least in the short term.

I would like to ask the lore and story part of the community for your opinion.
I have an idea in my mind that i cant get out of there.
Undead marines but in style of a necromancer rather than nurgle. Very much in a style of AOS Ossiarch Bonereapers or Nighthaunts.
Most likely will take quite a bit of kitbashing but i would like to try. But i am more thinking about the lore possibilities and i feel like a i would like to keep it out of the warp chaos. more of an unknown power that havent yet been seen most likely holding the souls of the dead soldiers and marines right before they slip to the warp ( maybe some kind of technology like a spirit stones ) and holding the soul traped in the place. Deep in their bones. all the flesh long gone, burned by the powerfull magic holding and commanding them from the shadows.
I would like to hear your options. Any option that you have to this is welcomed.
I love necrons yes and their lore a lot but i feel like the necromancer feel and fantasy around it is kinda missing. you are either a nurgle pawn or some kind of warp chaos tainted stuff. I miss the Diablo like necromancer feel that actualy AOS have very nicely done.

I would like to ask how viable certain teams are:
TMF - I already own them and like playing them but they are sometimes just too expensive as i don't have fift yet.
Scientists- i have the core from bundle and i like their look but they feel very weak but I haven't leveled them up higher than 14 so far as they haven't shown any return on investment. Would love to make them work but as not sure how.
Psychos - I have the bundle but am not sure who is most useful.
Most of what I need is for story.
TMF - I use for marauders missions with around 50-50 results. Lot of marauders missions sadly rush enemies very fast.

I am currently lvl 14 bus. working on locations 4 and 5.

I would like to get most of the exclusive units if they are any usefull, but am not sure which.
What would you say is the current most effective team for doing campaing ? I dont mind getting skins or exclusives if they are usefull later but kind dont want to buy everything and then find out that most is useless in the end.

Just a quick question for my novel / Chapter lore
What would you expect a new chapter fleet to be.
I have a chapter that is a completely new.
Founded specifically to guard a new possible ( but unlikely) route through the rift.
They received a system to guard and somewhat govern so they have a new home world and we're half from the indomitus marines and half a new shipment from Cawl.
All dark angels geneseed.
I want to build a fleet for them but realistic in scale and types of ship. There also will be a fleet from battlefleet ghotic ( maybe other not sure) but they won't be under the control of the chapter directly.
There is a derelict of a battleship of some old design orbiting the home world so they most likely will reclaim that one but it's yet unscanned ( separate novel will be about that ship later ) also some advice what type of derelict would you recommend is highly welcomed.
There is a old and abandoned fortress monastery of some kind but absurdly huge. ( Main story is happening here)
All advices are welcomed.
