I also need a new HPFP as mine is failing. Is it worth doing all the maintenance on this car, plus the HPFP repair, for a vehicle which is only worth about $7000 AUD in good, roadworthy condition?
I only listen to vinyl occasionally, but have a reasonably good hifi setup and do enjoy good sound. My stylus cost about $100 and is entry level.
30x30x4 cms paver on 4 anti-vibration squares that are 4x4x1 cms. The bass is now more focused and the stereo image is less smeared. Previously I felt the bass on my speakers was sloppy. Thought it could be amp but with a 500 damping factor I kind of doubted it! Very happy to recommend this cheap solution to speakers coupling to wooden floor
What does that suggest the problem might have been?
The integrated pre is pretty good but I want a phono stage, plus I want to blow open the soundstage
