i got emailed for academic integrity issue what should i do??

im in first year and i received an email earlier today from a prof saying that they suspect me of using AI on a quiz (a very small one from quercus). They said I either have the option of booking a meeting with them, or if they still believe that I used AI they will report it to the chair and may result in me getting a zero.

Okay guys ima keep it 100 and admit that i did use it... I'm willing to just take the zero because the quiz is barely worth anything, but im more so worried about gaining an academic offence on my record.

If i don't book the meeting, will I just receive a zero, or will my case escalate more and I will eventually need to meet with the chair?

What do I need to do to prepare for the first day of classes?

I'm an incoming first year and I don't really know what to expect for the first day even though school starts pretty soon.

I have my T-Card, school email, all of that stuff, but I still haven't received any info about actual classes so I was wondering if there's anything I need to prepare going into class.

Is there a platform similar to Google Classroom where professors/TAs will add us? Do we need to purchase or download anything before classes start? How early should I arrive for my first classes? Do I sit in the front or the back of the lecture?

Document stuck on "upload received" for two months

I'm a first time OSAP applicant and am going into my first year of undergrad. I uploaded all of my documents on June 29th, and all of them have been approved within a week, except for one of my parent income verfication forms. It's been stuck on "upload received" since I uploaded it so it's been almost two months now.

I know OSAP funding gets released in September so I'm worried this is going to affect when I can get my funding. Has this happened to anyone before, and who should I reach out to (OSAP or my school) to resolve this issue?

(wlw) I am genuinely in love with my friend and I don't know what to do. What do I do???

i hate admitting this, but no matter how many guys i talk to, how many dates i go on, i still can never stop thinking of her. this is about to be a long one, but I really need somewhere to vent/need advice because I can't tell anyone in my real life, no one knows I actually like girls.

shit, i don't even know where to begin. i honestly don't even know when i started liking her, but my feelings have only been growing and i can't stop myself. I'm not the kind of person to fall hard, but there's something different about her, something i haven't felt in so long. she's so imperfectly perfect to me. picture this: she's masc-ish, long hair, beautiful smile, athletic, raspy voice, beautiful face. up until this year, i thought i was straight, until we became close friends the beginning of this year. i love listening to yearning songs like stuff by girl in red or chappell roan because it just reminds me of our relationship so much.

i wouldn't be so hopelessly attached if i wasn't getting some sort of mixed signal. there's so many instances where the tension is through the roof, and i know that's not just me being delusional. we always talk about our sexuality somehow (she likes girls) and there's so many random instances where she asks me if i would ever date her. we've also cuddled so many times while watching movies together, me playing with her hair. she's also kissed me on the cheek a few times. all of this could mean something, but at the same time, nothing at all.

i genuinely love spending time with her, and just her prescence in a way i can't describe. however, it's all so painfully bittersweet. i'm such a fool, if she asks me to hang out i drop everything on my hands to see her. as much as i love hanging out with her, i know the closest we'll ever be is just friends. we just graduated high school, and are going to different colleges in september.

i've tried talking to guys over the summer, and they are nice, but nothing could replicate the way i feel towards her. it would honestly be so much easier if i just started dating this guy i'm talking to, but deep down i know all i want is her. this is corny but i honestly don't know what other to describe it except that i crave her.

i really want to just confess all of my feelings before she moves away. i just want to tell her everything and kiss her.

any more mature people here that can give me advice?? im sure everyone has had a girl like this in their lives. how do you get over her???

Why do people still support Micah and Kiyomi?

The proof that they are second cousins is jarring. It's basically 100% confirmed, yet they still have so many fans, and they've had their second baby. It honestly confuses me because I thought in the 21st century we would stop supporting incest and they are literally reproducing inbred children.

I've also heard a lot about how people just agree that it's okay because "all they have is each other" since they both grew up in a very cult-like a family, etc. however that makes zero sense because fundamentally, they are related!!

Also, on another note, I think it really comes down to pretty privilege as well. For example Songbyrd (an asmr youtuber) was clowned on so hard and cancelled because her and her husband are 12th coursins. However, now when it's two conventionally attractive people, it's suddenly okay...

how does first year architecture course selection work?

Currently selecting my courses but I came across a reddit post saying first year arch students automatically get enrolled into our pre-reqs?

I just spent some time putting together a timetable with the timetable builder and also added my courses into the cart on ACORN... do I not need to do that?

Any advice on how to prepare for entering a undergrad architecture degree? (bA)

I'm currently a senior in high school going into my first year of university in the fall majoring in architecture (bA)! (in Canada) I was wondering if there's anything I can start learning like programs, things to purchase, or general preparation I can do during the summer to be ready for my first semester.

Also, I understand the magnitude of what I'm getting myself into... haha... I know this pathway is very overworked and underpaid, so I'm hoping to pivot into a similar career in the future (not pure architecture). I just think studying architecture is something I'm not only passionate in, but will prepare me in harsh ways. Also any negative comments aren't going to help me very much as I've already accepted my offer 😞

why should I study architecture?

I recently got accepted into one of the best architecture programs (undergraduate) in my country and I'm struggling between choosing that and social science (law). Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated!

I took one course at a private institution, and they just sent me an email saying that they're processing my marks to OUAC now. I'm kinda worried tho because I thought the deadline to upload midterm marks to OUAC was on the 24th...

Will univeristies not see my midterm mark for this course this now? Or will they still check it even if its uploaded after teh deadline? SOS.
