Cardinal v Peanut

Cardinals, with seed beaks, fly off with peanuts in the shell often. I’ve never caught it on the BB until now.

Deflock

I was just checking the Deflock website. Clark and Holmes are stacked with Flock cameras.

Downtown, Depot Town, zilch. And of course, Ann Arbor has none.

Who approved these locally? The townships? The county sheriff? Our state representative?

Beal (j/k)?

Who is responsible so we push them out of office in November (using write-in if necessary)?

I’m going to eat it all.

Ever see that person at a buffet that eats and eats and never leaves?

Zakk Sabbath?

I’m looking at the new tour dates. I saw Zakk Sabbath when they rolled through town last fall.

I know BLS often does double duty with ZS. Does anyone know if that’s what the new tour holds? I’ve got a friend that loves Black Sabbath and I’d love for him to see a ZS show.

Not Capturing

We have the BB Pro and it is capturing one postcard every 4-5 hours on average. There was just a 21hr space between captures despite birds parking themselves on the feeder.

Quite disappointing.

Fledgling Attack!

This starling fledgling has a grievance with the camera.

Thought for Flerfer Consideration

If the Earth is flat, why can’t the entire discworld (I’m sorry, really sorry, ghost of Sir Pratchett) be seen from the top of Mt Everest? Conversely, we should all be able to see Mt Everest with an off the shelf telescope from a skyscraper or a natural formation a few thousand feet above sea level.

Maybe mountains aren’t real? Or maybe height isn’t real? I’m confused.

I’d love to hear a counter argument from a flerfer one day.

DND Campaigns for Newb?

I’ve been away from the game for a very long minute timed over many moons.

Are there any active campaigns, or (preferably) new, campaign tables out there for former AD&D 2nd Edition players that are reacquainting themselves with the game? I would be a 5.5 newb with a (hopefully) fast recall of the rules after playing my last campaign in the 90s.
