Tender Is The Night - THP Orchestra (12”) 1978

Luv’d most of the Butterfly productions when I got ‘em. Though I wouldn’t say they were consistently as good as some other import labels. THP were good for some pretty solid bangers for a minute back in the day. 💃🏻🔥🕺🏻

Worth saving from the scrap metal guy?

Last weekend a neighbor was moving out and offered me this bike that’s been sitting outside in his backyard since the owner passed away.

I was like “FUJI! Cool beans!” I remember (mid 70’s) racing friends on their Fuji’s. I don’t remember if theirs were touring bikes or even if my Peugeot was/is. (Will post my old bike in another post)

Oddly the one race I fully recall was when someone’s front fork on their Fuji split open mid race! We were all ‘indestructible’ teenagers and fortunately were able to walk away from accidents like this with skinned knees and elbows, luckily no broken bones!

As for this bike I know there’s plenty of ugly potentially seized parts even though the rims are straight as can be and bearings sound great! The cable lock is another minor obstacle.

By the way, I’ve noticed this sub is loaded with some of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I’ve ever seen. I learned more than my share with every post I read! I will truly appreciate any feedback, I’ll definitely take in consideration before I bust my knuckles and bank account. Thank you!!! 👍🏼😎
