The episode with Namkoong Min and Kim Dae Myung. Min asked for a dish to make him ugly. I was shocked that they asked the entire production crew to vote who is the ugliest among Namno and Sung jun. Omg. They kept being really really mean. Of course the duo were sporty in taking the comments but I cannot imagine what it does to one’s psyche. To have a workplace that openly jokes and then votes on how ugly you are. It’s no longer just a joke. This is so so mean, especially as a society that prides itself on being respectful. I am not easily shocked and I am shook.

Also I think they’re overdoing the ageist jokes on Chef Choi Hyun seok. A couple jokes is okay.

Also (2), can someone teach Ahn Jung Hwan some basic tenets of respect? He’s the mean girl of the show.

It was such a hearty show but this was quite a passive aggressive episode and the cruel comments have been far and in between until not but the cruelty really peaked. It’s starting to get borderline toxic. Chef Nam-no puts up humour and self deprecation as a defence mechanism so one might be deluded in thinking he’s okay with the jokes but how can anyone be okay with this level of spite? Sung jun was smiling but you could tell he was bothered internally.

Can’t imagine this kind of experience not needing serious therapy to get through. I am quite a resilient person but this would’ve hit me really hard if it were me.

I’ll be visiting Seoul (and Busan) soon (August end). This is my second trip so feeling a bit more confident with Korean dishes compared to the first one, thanks to CCW/CAMF. I’d love to share a BBQ meal which I couldn’t try by myself last time. Please drop in my DMs 💟

Hello, I am travelling to Seoul for the next 10 days and here is my itinerary. It’s based off of a conference on the last three days. Am I doing too much? Am I missing anything important? I kept a chill vibe and only a few things to see that I can sketch at and chill around. I don’t need to see all the sightseeing sights. I’d rather walk around aimlessly for hours. I have a tiny tattoo thats covered up with the tiniest sticker but want a few more but also I will feel sad in the off chance that I visit Japan like Fifty more times in this lifetime (which I know I’ll do because ❤️) and cannot use an onsen that I really love. What a strange very niche issue to have.

Where do you get your suits tailored? I don’t need a woman’s tailor, need an androgynous suit. Where do you buy fabric? How much time does it take? What would a decent suit here cost?

Please recommend if you’ve personally had things tailored from them and it fits you really really really well. I’m thinking a double breasted suit and nice flared pants so not super traditional men’s suit. And also maybe a chill linen suit.

I have two cats, brother and sister, 5 months old. Bonded pair. Not separated since birth. But the male cat started being a bit aggressive so i got him spayed, so he was away for a couple days at the vet’s. She was quite sad and cuddly when he left. He’s now back and the girl cat is hissing aggressively at him. Shes the quietest, gentlest soul and neither cat has caused me any trouble. How can I get rid of other cats’ smell from my boy cat so they can stop this world war in my house?

I have to take an extra long time but I’ve subjected myself to extra long walks and times thanks to this 😿
