I’d basically like a book where they’re both on the same ward in a psychiatric hospital and really slow burn too, I love longer books/book series. Maybe one of the mcs is non verbal/really quiet but steps out of his comfort zone to be around mc2. I watched a movie like this once that’s loosely around the same concept but it was wlw and I don’t remember if it was a psychiatric hospital or not, but one aspect that I liked in the movie that I’d like in the book is sneaking around in the middle of night to see each other even with the risks of getting caught

Okay so I’m reading {convergence by kearstin Dustin} and I like it so far but it doesn’t really scratch the itch for me. I’m looking for a dystopian/apocalyptic book where the main characters are trying to live in a destroyed world, and they find each other or they end up in the same place. I’d prefer they didnt know each other before hand

Another book I’ve read that isn’t really dystopian or apocalyptic but similar (it’s more so military corps underground training killing assassination vibes) is {your knife my heart by k.m moronova}. I absolutely love this book defo one of my faves for the year but it was really fast paced and I want something that’s reallyyyy slow paced and PREFERABLY LONG TOO! I’m talking 600 pages+ or book series!!!

Shows like divergent, the hunger games, the darkest minds, the 100 etc stuff like that is basically what I’m looking for.

I can’t exactly remember the premise for this book, but I remember that it’s about this guy who basically grew up in the woods and he was taken to the woods with like three other boys and fell off the cliff in some initiation thing. I’m not really sure. Fast forward a few years later and he gets approached by someone woman in the woods that he’s living in. I’m not sure if he built a household himself at that time but she stays with this woman for like one day and then she leaves or something. And he has a pet wolf too.

And the investigator is from a small town she’s not really a proper investigator I think but the mountain woods whatever guy gets put in jail one day when he was discovered and she meets him there at first, then occasionally they start “meeting up” with each other

i literally don’t know how everyone’s understanding the content already like did everyone have a whole year of experience before me or something 💔💔

I’m doing history a level ans im so confused like I didn’t do it for GCSE maybe that’s why but like this is a whole new topic and I don’t get it at all…
Like im already overwhelmed but im gonna try catch up this weekend on like everything hopefully cus its not just history that’s got me stressed out but also sociology.
How are you guys managing your time because I feel like the main reason why i feel so behind is because I haven’t had much time outside lessons to go over what I did in the lessons 💔 so maybe going forward I’ll try set aside time for that so I don’t get overwhelmed

how do you make like a revision checklist for humanities subjects (specifically English) using the specification…
I do English lit history and sociology and I wanna make a revision checklist but how would I go about doing that.

For sociology I already have a checklist and history I think I know what to do. However English there’s not really a subject content checklist so idk what to do

Writing this after my mum basically said that my natural hair loooks funny and she prefers me when I have braids in my head. I know she didn’t mean any harm but it’s kinda irritating to hear when I have to give myself a pep talk everyday to step outside with my hair out after wearing back to back braids for majority of my life.

I think this trope was in {hurt me daddy by misha Thorne} and i actually really liked this book! I like the trope where it’s loud guy x silent guy where you’d think the silent guy is going through some deep shit but it’s the guy u LEAST expected.

he can be struggling for any reason, whether that be with stuff going on at home, internalised homophobia, or just overwhelmed. But he’s putting on a front and still trying to be the life of the party even though he’s at his breaking point. Something like that

When I say grovel I mean GROVEL. I don’t mean halfhearted apology that turns into sex after they realise they’re attracted to each other. No I mean she doesn’t even want to be on the same planet as him for a good 70% of the book. No “oh I hate him but he’s so hot”. No “I still hate him but I’ll suck his dick because he’s hot”. Everytime she looks at him, her heart genuinely shrivels up and dies, the only feeling she has for him is RAGEEEEEEE. And he sees that and is like “oh shit maybe I went too far”

Even better if the mmc does apologise a couple of times and gets rejected every single time. Maybe he’s approaching it wrong, maybe hes saying the wrong thing, or maybe he needs to develop enough to actually do an apology worth forgiving. Through his actions, through the way he treats her etc. I’ve been reading basically majority of my life and I can count on one hand how many good grovels I’ve actually read.

The few books I’ve read where I liked the grovel

{pack darling by Lola rock} and even then I’d only really rate the grovel a 7/10

I’d prefer if there was like 0 smut or atleast a very small amount of it. I’ve tried a lot of books but like 99% of the time the fmc just gets over her trauma in one chapter or upon meeting the mmcs. Which isnt what I want. I want something extremely slow burn, where they focus on helping her with her trauma without getting turned on by how small and innocent and delicate she is.

Not a book where the fmc feels comfortable touching and initiating physical contact with them after just being with them for 5 minutes. And I also hate the whole “she feels safe with no one but when she meets them she automatically feels safe with them.” I find it extremely hard to believe, and I’d rather the trust is actually built rather than just spawning there. If she’s traumatised I want it to actually show in the way that she reacts to them and other people in her life. Not by leaning into them and sinking into their touch after 2 chapters. Slow. Burn. Even if it takes two books for the first kiss.

even better if there’s a scene where - she goes to the li for advice on how to bag his best friend or like questions about what he likes in a girl and stuff and he gets vulnerable and is like “why do you even like him why can’t you like me” like yes whew. ORRRRR he gets sad and walks off due to him not wanting to listen to her talk about the guy she likes infront of him and she gets confused UNKNOWING THST HE LIKES HER. If that makes sense

Maybe she can develop feelings for him after being rejected by his best friend or whatever as long as it fits what im asking for. However I’m not really looking for the fmc and the MCs best friend to actually date. Kinda like unrequited love she has for him but it fades away when she falls in love with the MC.

Long title but I’m watching this new Japanese Boy Love drama “Popular Serizawa acts weird around me” and it’s basically about these high school boys and the loner guy secretly writes a bl story about the most popular guy in their school and the guy finds out and starts getting closer to him. and I am OBSESSED ALREADY! However only one episode is out and I need something like this asap!!

I’m open to whatever genres as long as the premise is basically what I’m asking for above, HOWEVER I’d prefer if it was around college/high school level. Basically just a cute fluffy book that’ll make me kick my feet because they’re so cute.

By loner I mean near complete loner like they don’t have friends or not many at least and they’re extremely awkward. And the popular guy brings him out of his shell

not enemies to lovers where they get over their hatred in a few chapters, or he makes her chase after him or treats her horribly and she just takes it etc. NO. I need a book where he wants her to love him so bad it’s killing him and he’ll even kill himself if it means she loves him at the end.

I’m reading the Olgami/Trapped manwha and this guy is WHIPPED, and he will stop at nothing to get the fl to love him the way he loves her even though she absolutely loathes him. I’m not usually a fan of “toxic”/“red flag” relationships but i actually really enjoy this one because the fl isnt just kneeling over and professing her love for him. She’s hellbent on NOT liking him (or atleast not admitting it) and it’s killing him. I NEED MORE OF THAT!!!

It can be a thing where he’s like idk murdered her whole family (for a reason) and she hates him (obviously) but he wants her so bad for whatever reason, maybe he likes her defiant personality or maybe he just wants a challenge. However the relationship starts, it needs to develop into him becoming the most desperate man in the world. Like more desperate than a person abandoned in the desert who hasn’t drank water for 100 years.

His obsession drives him crazy, but like a sad depresssive crazy. He tears himself apart thinking about the fact that she doesn’t love him and he begs her to just love him, even if it’s for one minute.

I’m open to a lot of things, I’d prefer fantasy/ paranormal if possible but anything is accepted however I have strict NOs:

I’m a sucker for a good hurt/comfort and I’ve searched the subreddit and made my own posts in the last years , but mostly everything recommended is :

1. Something I’ve already read 💔
2. Its not actually a “traumatised” fmc, or the trauma is glossed over and never mentioned again throughout the book

A lot of the time It’s not executed or handled properly in the book, the FMC doesn’t actually get the help that she needs and deserves and is all of a sudden “healed” by magical dick (and i really hate when that happens because it feels like the author used the fmcs trauma as a pulling you in type of point but then the trauma magically disappears when she meets the guys/has sex with them)

I want her actions, her emotions, her feelings to show us as readers that she is TRAUMATISED. And feels like she’ll never be the same again.PTSD,Panic attacks,nightmares,everything give me it all. I want my heart to break in two when I see how it’s affected her. I want something RAW.SLOW BURN.GRITTY.ANGST. Something that will make me never forget the book and actually live in my mind rent free for a long time. I want tears, I want pain GIVE ME ALL OF IT. And I want men that are there with her every step of the way and don’t use her trauma against her or as a way to get into her panties. I’ve read (well mostly DNFed) books where it’s clear that mmcs are just taking advantage of a traumatised woman and don’t make any effort to get her actual help or at the very least support her. So yes I need a supportive,caring, protective, would fucking die for her and she’ll never have to hurt AGAIN type of harem.

Sooo I see this trope a lot but it’s usually the other way around - also defined as (grumpy/sunshine in some cases?) and I wanted to read about a book where she’s basically just an extremely grumpy person and he’s the only one that she’s soft around (even if it takes him a while to break through her defensive barrier) and when she DOES let him in, he’s shown a side to her that nobody else sees. He calms her down, gives her peace and is like a soothing balm that never gives up on her.

For example in {charlottes reject by k.r treadway} they r such polar opposites but they work so well as a couple and I liked their dynamic

I’ve tried looking for childhood friends to lovers where the whole harem grew up together and stuff but a lot of the time there’s a separation or something like the fmc moves away and they think she left them so when she DOES come back they’re assholes to her (which is not what im looking for) or there’s some sort of reunion after 10 years. If there is a reunion, I’d prefer it wasn’t after YEARS. I wanna see them loving each other/ being friends with each other from the START.

I want a book where they all (or some of them) were friends as kids and kinda of grow into the relationship? Friend’s to lovers basically - not friends to enemies to friends to lovers.

I’ve read {saving the halfback} which was good but still not 100% hitting the spot but I did like it!

Basically what the title says, I’m looking for a book where the mmc is extremely smitten with fmc in a way that’s so awkward and adorable that it just makes you want to squeeze his cheeks

He trips over his words,stutters around her, blushes profusely GIMME EVERYTHING. Even better if she’s older than him by a few years. Thinking about her just makes his knees weak BUT he’s too nervous to even think about approaching her or asking her out. And the fmc has NOOO clue whatsoever and takes his awkwardness towards her as “him just being a shy person” when in reality, he’s head over heels for her and she just doesn’t know it yet.

And when they do end up dating, he doesn’t lose that smitten feeling, it just amplifies by 100x more and he’s like “oh my gosh I get this beautiful amazing goddess to myself and I can’t believe she’s real”. When he looks at her his heart skips a beat and his whole day just gets immensely better. Just something cute and fluffy that’ll have me cheesing for the next month preferably.
