Does REI always take so long to ship

I ordered a backpack 8 days ago. Received a shipping notification 7 days ago that the item had shipped (and of course my card was charged). According to UPS tracking it has not been released to the carrier. Called 3 days ago to inquire and they said it could well be in transit. It hasn't moved yet and I feel fairly certain that if UPS had picked it up it would have scanned by now. Is this normal for REI?? This is 2026. I can't imagine a large online retailer doing business like this. Just curious if anyone else has had this experience.

Window Coverings for this wall of Windows

I’m struggling with window coverings for this sliding door/window wall. It spans > 16’. I need a sheer option as well as blackout. Will consider anything. This is a great space and I want something nice but really don’t need for it to cost more than the furniture. To add to complications the air vents are in the floor 4” from the base and my desk is on the right hand side so I don’t need a big bunch of curtains that need to park there. WWYD here??? Thanks!

AC Quit working LX600 w/13K miles

This has happened twice this week. The first time I had the cold box on and kept remote starting my car. Once I got on the road and picked up speed it started working again. The second time the cold box wasn't on but I was creeping in rush hour traffice for 20 minutes. Both times it said to seek service. Has anyone else experienced this?? Either way, cold box or slow traffic, IMO this is unacceptable. I paid major bucks for this car to NOT have issues like this where I have to take it in for service all the time so to say I'm livid is an understatement. 97 degree weather is not the time to have AC issues. Oh and to add fuel to the fire, the first dealer I called said this didn't qualify for a loaner. This may very well be my first and last Lexus...

Please don't hate me for asking this about West Elm!

I know WE has a horrible reputation for customer service/quality, but I've scrubbed the threads for info about their beds and not a lot has come up. I'm obsessed with Interlude Izzy but the price is totally out in outer space so I ran across this WE Andes bed when looking for dupes. I haven't gone to the store yet to look at swatches or to check out their frames, but am curious if anyone has bought a WE bed. I can see where sofas require a lot more technical components (frame, cushions, etc) (where I've seen the majority of complaints), but a bed is joinery and upholstery. Obviously it has to be sturdy so I see where it's not easy, but am just curious if anyone has purchased this bed or anything similar. Appreciate the feedback or suggestions for a nice-looking, good quality look alike for this Interlude Izzy!

Temp Housing close to MDA Mays Clinic

Am having trouble sifting through all the options around MDA. I will be there for 19 days in June for treatment and need some place safe, with a kitchen, a comfortable bed and the ability to control the climate (I like it cool at night). I won't say budget isn't a concern, but I will pay a little more for comfort. I will have my car, but would like for it to be within a mile of the clinic so I can walk if I feel like it. They have provided a plethora of options, but I would rather hear personal experiences. Does anyone have any recommendations? Oh and a pool would be great!!

Have a bank of windows with sliding door of 15.5' so looking for blackout window coverings of at least 16.5' (the door is in the middle of the two windows). Am being open minded as to options other than curtains because I know that will look like a hotel. Have seen a track blind option. Whatever I choose it must have color choices, be 100% blackout, and durable as far as a lot of opening/closing is concerned. Also, I think I might like it on the heavier side. Would love suggestions here!! TIA

Unfortunately this fan only comes in 72" and I need a 52". Does anyone know of a dupe for this? Everything I'm finding in walnut is more of a reddish walnut and not the dark walnut that the mecca has. Thanks!

I just tried the “new” babybel df and it was awful. I absolutely loved the old ones and they were my go to. Does anyone know of a cheese that’s similar in taste to the old one??
