I have some areas that I had to overseed a little heavier to cover in some bare spots from some work, and for some reason some of these newer spots are starting to yellow very rapidly. I can’t quite figure out what might be going wrong, I can’t say that I recall ever seeing this in past overseeds.

In general, I have been a bit disappointed with this year’s overseed. I used Resilience from Twin City which started out incredible, but now I’m starting to see that it’s actually fairly thin in most places and the new development is pretty weak and yellow.

There was a lot of hesitation after he was hired, and maybe rightfully so replacing a legend. But to my ears he seems to be getting better every game. He’s thorough and brings great energy to the calls when it counts.

Just wanted the sub’s thoughts on dormant seeding tall fescue. My overseed looks to be coming in a bit thin - I’m guessing 100° temps followed immediately by the wettest September in the last 30 years is mostly to blame. Being in 6a I’m likely getting too late to put down more, and if I have to pay to run the sprinklers like this for another 3 weeks I won’t have a house to worry about anyway. That leaves me at dormant seeding. I’ve never tried it, and I’ve never really seen a ton of discussion about it. Is it a waste of seed? Or does it actually work out OK?

I’m playing on mobile and recently purchased the scale DLC, giving me dragon, snake, and kraken. I played one game with dragon on easy just to try to learn the clan,  but was defeated by another clan with wisdom. And that’s the part I haven’t been able to figure out. It takes so long to build up resources and a population that it seems almost impossible to win domination before another clan wins via either wisdom or fame. What are I missing here?

Soil test came in nearly perfect, I’ve been rotating fungicides, I’ve put down 2 1/2 pounds of nitrogen so far this year the latest being just over a month ago, has received plenty of water with one of the wettest summers we’ve seen in a while, and yet the anthracnose will not stay away.

Looking for a little validation before I break my back doing all this work. I’m planning to do quite a bit here in about three weeks. Currently the plan is to aerate and rake up and remove plugs. In the back I’m planning to do a light top dress with compost before leveling with sand and over seeding. I’m planning to do this in two steps so my dog isn’t Tracking muddy compost everywhere. Everywhere the dog doesn’t have access to I’m planning to top dress and level with a compost and sand mix before seeding. One week after seeding i’ll be putting down 20-0-0 AMS (P and K are already high).  does this all sound pretty reasonable or is some of it a bit overkill? I am in 6A, southeast Nebraska.

I’ve recently rejoined the pellet grill arena with a Yoder, and I’ve tried a little bit of everything from Premium Cooking Pellets to Kirkland, but I finally found a local plug for Lumberjack. Seems like the brand was all the rage a few years ago but I also see that they were recently bought out. At $10 per bag it’s hard to say no, but are these still considered quality pellets?

I’m needing roughly 68m (220ft) of lights for my exterior. If my numbers are all correct to this point, I could do this with a QuinLED Uno and 4-5 power injections. But I need to clarify here. Is this listing per 1m track and inclusive of both lights and aluminum track for $1.50/meter? That’s way better than anything I’ve found elsewhere and seems too good to be true. I’m not super familiar with how Alibaba works so any insight is appreciated!

Hey all, new to this so apologies for anything wrong said here.

I consider myself technical and handy enough, and this all make sense to me, but choosing the correct lights and mounting is throwing me off. I’m trying to plan out eave lighting for 220’ of eave lighting, and the mounting seems to be 75% of the cost. I’m not too particular on lighting type be it bullet, rope, or puck, but I’m lost on this one. What’s a good budget/light combo for this use?

Edit: I should add: 6a, lawn is primarily tttf. It I do suspect that there’s some KBG mixed into the original sod. I’m by no means opposed to introducing KBG, but Resilience 2 would be my other choice.

I have a pair of Cloud 6 Versa and a pair of Cloud Monsters that are both tight enough across the bridge that I’m getting reduced circulation in my toes. I do not have this problem with my Cloud 5s. The Versas have the quick lace and the Monsters have the traditional lace. Does anyone else have these issues or any suggestions? Like maybe a thinner insole or anything?

I just miss Dark Sky, man. Has anyone found a good replacement yet? I’m not asking for much. A decent detailed hourly forecast, a weekly forecast, and a radar that does past and future. And most importantly, the app should at least function at a minimum. There doesn’t seem to be an app that really checks all the boxes. The stock app gets closest, and yet it still feels unnecessarily clunky to use and the radar is awful.
