My experience in Wimbledon from Hospitality and Debenture ticket
Hi just wanted to give a different perspective from what i have read so far since this will cover hospitality tickets and experience, also buying debentures tickets from 2 different places and also getting the oportunity of getting raffle tickets and more.
this is not going to be a good and structured post, its more about ideas and opinions, so a little of overview of what i had and what it cost and so on
1- i got hospitality tickets for 2nd day of Quaters in Court 1, Men single finals hospitality, so a few things about this, this is a great way to enjoy the event, i went Wednesday and Sunday, i got a lot of food, the food was better on the final day but it was more of a la carta, a lot of free drinks but one thing great about this is you have a place to rest, bathrooms, somewhere to stotre your stuff so you can really just enjoy the event, this cost around $21k both days, for finals i had to purchase 1 table for a minimum of two ppl which was around $18k so 9k per person, and the quater finals could be single tickets but i made it with 2 other friends which was around 3k each, the hospitality is really nice and everything feels super top qualitiy and prestine, like you really are in Wimbledon, ppl are well dressed and there is a dress code that ppl follow, hosts and waiters, everything threads you super nice, these tickets were NOT debenture hospitality tickets, you can get hospitality with and without Debentures, the tickets seats were super nice and always in the shades, i love this, it was in the baseline, one thing i was not able to do which i though i could, was to sell my 2nd ticket of the table via viagogo or starhub or something like that, so be AWARE, another GREAT thing about this is you can pay the full ticket in 3 moments, so i didnt had to pay all 21k last year but i paid a payment in july 2025 another in jan 2026 and another in may 2026 which was a great thing to do. buying them in presale is much cheaper than getting them later on, but you also get the risk of your fav player either missing out the finals or your day because of draft of injury like Alcaraz for me.
2- I got Women semifinals from debentureholders website, the pricing was not the best to be honest i felt this was was overpriced comparing them via buying them over viagogo, i got this for like 3k but i saw some in viagogo for like 1.5k or something, the position or the seat in debentureholders was also not selectable and i got one ticket with a seat assignment under the sun, the position was good and it was close, BUT i had to endure the sun for hours and was seating like a pig, i dressed a bit more cassually for today, one good thing about the debentures tickets is the debenture entrance and the lobby, the no lines and the AC on the loundge, also get a clockroom to store stuff, seats was great. would i buy this again? i really dont know maybe i would buy them next time closer to the event and once knowing who might be the ladies playing on it, but the Coco vs Muschova game was really good and entertainning
3- the Quaterfinals games was and felt meh bc the risk i toook did not paid off, i picked the 2nd day of Quaterfinals in Court 1 and it was Zverev vs Fritz and Noskova vs Mertens, but it was really bad luck bc i was going to be seeing iga or rybakina or both, but that didnt happen :(, solo dimitrov was eliminated and fery vs cobolli was on center Court, so again, buying tickets 1 year before has his pros but also takes a lot of risk on who you might get to watch.
4- I got 1 ticket for court 1 on saturday via the resale on the website, it cost like $150 and it was totally worth it, this day i enjoyed being on the grounds and eating and walking and watching some games i wouldnt probably watch but it was SO MUCH FUN, i would definetely do this again, getting tickets for cc or court1 as low price is totally worht it, and really there is really no bad seats, on either court, so bang for the buck
5- my plan was to be in wimbledon and get to know London, but since i wanted to watch more tennis and Novak was playing sinner at the semis, i cancelled my plans for london and got a ticket via viagogo a day before, this ticket was a debenture ticket and it was sold much lower price than what keith and prowse or the debenturesholders or green and purple were selling them fore, every place was about $9-10k or more and i got it for $6k, some tickets of semifinals on the same day were at $5k in viagogo, the ticket again was ok but not the best but i was able to watch and be "close" to the royal box, i might never see Novak again so in my mind it was worth it, but then again it depends on what you can afford or not.
6- buy your stuff earlier, the shops gets empty as the days goes by, also is quite tiring watching so much tennis so i dont advice having plans after the last game is played,
so finals thoughts:
If i were to do this again, which i planning on, i would just get 1 hospitality for the finals day, i would try to get a quaterfinals via viagogo closer to the dates, probably after the event has started or at least knowing the seeds, i would defientely get Center court instead of court1, i would pick Finals day EVERY SINGLE TIME OVER SEMIFINALS, yeah you get 2 games worth, but the atmosphere, the tension, everything feels more on the line at the finals than in the semifinals, i would ALWAYs TRY again for the ballout and the resaleball out, also keep pushing for the amex release, a friend of mine got great tickets for Ladies finals in CC in saturday and another day and they were watching sinner and such playing someone i dont remember now. if you cant pay debentures tickets pricing, get early ones in the tournament, i feel like you can get them either on resale or go to grounds early and try to get a resale queue but be early on the line, and also dont be afraid to go to other courts and watch juniors, or ladies, or boys, or who ever is playing, even wheelchair tennis was a lot of fun, and definetely go more than one day, go 2-3 days at least and try to enjoy Wimbledon to the fullests
IF you have more questions feel free to ask, i migh have forgotten a lot of stuff, Wimbledon is a great event, i really want to go one more time, hopefully to see Sinner battle it out with Carlos or an upcoming young star
Edit: Re reading this I realized I made a bunch of errors with my poor broken English, apologize for that, also the total in tickets was like $28k USD, I can upload a few pics of POV if someone wants and finally I found 2 great restaurants in Wimbledon city which was open after the games played, Nanoom a Korean Bbq and Sushi and sticks a Japanese one both of them were great 👍
