Hello All I am trying to build a NAS in this day and age, am aware of the ram and storage prices went through the roof but willing to dive into the refurb or enterprise grade used hdds and base 16gb ram system like old dells with ddr4s with i5. Problem is enterprise grade hdds and availability in the trusted refurb segment. Any guides suggestions for cheaper build specs will be helpful. Use case is only house hold device data storage with some redundancy so that dont have to pay google cloud or others.I am not data hoarder but occasional local 4k remux streaming will be good to have.

Presently my backsups are manually with couple of laptop ssds with external usb 3 case added to TP link archer C1200 router on SMB share.

Rip and Beth what an hot pair, picture perfect haven't seen such a hot pair anywhere by the end their cozied up scenes outdoors, what beauty to watch.

Good storyline and character arc. Except for half hearted written Kayce's character seems like the writer were not sure themselves in the begining but somehow they felt the character stuck hence there flashes of bright in his story also throw Jamie's character under the bus.

But they sure hurried the last couple of episodes abruptly felt like rushed up too quick for my liking could have been few more episodes.

I am on Dutton Ranch now, started with high expectation and

am 7 episode deep, Dutton Ranch its no where near with story line and looks like writers were smoking weed while writing first couple of episodes continuing the rush from Yellowstone, its either this or the dog ate the script. They can well name it some other ranch as till now Dutton Ranch name is not yet justified.

Today watched a Chris fix YT video for diy flexfuel kit installation which was plug and play, in US they already have E85 kits even for legacy cars like swift old models to newer 6 or 8 cylinder high performance cars. The kit detects ethnol levels going into engine and computes the fuel combustion in addition to ECU. The kit sits between engine and fuel pump. Theres an app which detects the ethnol content being burnt inside engine.He also mentions E85 is higher in octane (I have my doubts).

I think such kits are common in western world, govt should have given the roll out more time with conversion kits and option of having E90 and other variants available while rolling this out. At this stage it seems like only driven by pure greed and individual interests only.
