How’s my tool setup?

My trilok handguard is now printed out of pa6gf. Only took 19.5 hours lol

All I got to say is those settings are amazing. 19.5 hours later and my handguard is printed out of PA6GF, only thing I had to change was the nozzle temp setting.

V5 is live, this will most likely be the final version after making some slight changes, it will requires drilling and tapping the cage to attach the hand guard using the top and middle hole, the bottom hole is just for bolting the guard to itself. I printed out of ABS.

V2 finished printing this morning. I installed but noticed when using a very grip and being left handed I was able to slide the left rail off the oem locking nub. Right handed doesn’t seem to be and issue and it also doesn’t seem to be an issue if you c clamp more than anything.

Anyways I have V3 printing now which is a single piece with a smaller diameter by 1 mm and has 2 mounting holes on the bottom rail. There’s 1 at the top and middle that I will drill through (debated on using m4 tap) and use an m4 screw and nut to keep the rail in place. If V3 fits properly V4 will be printed today which is a 2 piece like V2 and allow easier bolting of the middle hole and the sliding the second half of the rail into place and bolting it all together. I’ll keep everyone updated.

First print is done. I modified v2 and will print later today out of abs. V2 is a 2 piece and will have holes to allow it to be screwed together. I was worried if it was 1 piece the abs would snap. This should prevent it. In the meantime check out V1 (V2 is the last picture)

Do we think it’s going to be worth it for me to print this design I just made for AP5SD? I’m doing a small section as a test print to see how it fits. I’m thinking I’ll print it out of petg as it’s a little more flexible than abs. Thoughts?

How ridiculous does this Amazon flashlight look?

RB AMBI ran flawlessly. First video is my WPA Whisper Pickle and second is my Omega9K. I was lucky enough to not need shims but for those with the AP5SD who need them you can search RB Ambi Shims on cults3d.

Also yes those are goggles and yes I’m left handed lol. It’s gassy as fuck being a lefty.

3d printed shroud because I can lol, still might get the halo but this is a low pro with pic rails.
