T-32SM3 Nightwraith

Finally made a jet I'm decently happy with and comfortable sharing....

It's a tandem cockpit multirole fighter. It pulls 9g, roughly 19°/s sustained when clean with full internal fuel. It has 3d thrust vectoring for supermaneuverability.

It weighs 15.25t dry, has 11.15t internal fuel, 14m wingspan and is 20.5m long.

Hope y'all like it!

PC not booting after CPU upgrade

So here's my issue:

I have a fairly old PC, Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 motherboard, GTX 1060 6GB and Ryzen 5 1600.

I've recently picked up a Ryzen 5 5500 (AM4 socket, fits my motherboard) for relatively cheap as a small upgrade.

Before any hardware changes, I've made sure to upgrade my BIOS version (F31, then F40, and then finally F55a) in order to make my new CPU compatible.

I've replaced the CPU, and it got stuck during boot at memory training (DRAM LED). So I've tried leaving only 1 stick of RAM in, etc.

Then, naively, I took the advice to try and drain the CMOS and hard reset the motherboard.

Now it's still stuck (still the DRAM LED glows), but now the CPU fan spools up and then stops, suggesting the CPU isn't operating.

Now here's the kicker. During CPU replacement, I wanted to keep my Wraith Spire cooler, as it's better than the Wraith Stealth that came stock with the 5500. But the original AMD thermal paste decided to turn into freaking cement. Heating didn't work, WD-40 did nothing.... I only managed to pry it away with a box cutter used as a lever. This had the unfortunate effect of sending my old 1600 flying.... and a number of pins got bent as a result (yay me....).

So, how screwed am I right now?

[OTHER] POV (pt.2): *you're a medieval guard on a hot summer day*

Some people appreciated my previous post of the Knin fortress in Croatia, so here's another one.

Unfortunately, I couldn't quite "hide" the modern constructions here. But I still think the scale of everything is absolutely mind boggling.

For reference, Knin fortress is more than 10 times the size of Trosky in KCD2... That's not a typo, yes, MORE than TEN TIMES the size... Specifically, its footprint is about 123 000 square meters, or roughly 30 acres. But Trosky is more vertical, and more tall.

The Knin fortress has been built up over the past 1000 years of history, with the initial fortifications being constructed at some point between the 6th and 10th centuries.

Over its history it changed hands between the Croatian Kingdom, the Ottomans, the Venetians and Napoleon among others...

[OTHER] POV: *you're medieval guard on a hot summer day*

This is at the Knin fortress in Croatia. An absolutely insanely large fortress (second largest by area in Europe) that was built up over 1000 years of history (construction began between the 6th and 10th centuries).

Visiting this place instantly made me re-play KCD2 once I got home...
