My kids want to go see the meteor shower but I’m dreading the traffic and crowds. And don’t want to drive all the way there and be disappointed

I’m having trouble getting my Celestron SkyPortal WiFi Module to align properly with my NexStar 6SE. I’ve tried several alignment methods and calibration options, but I still can’t seem to get accurate GoTo performance.
Whenever I think the alignment is successful, I test it by slewing to the Moon, and it’s consistently far off. Does anyone have any tips, best practices, or a step-by-step guide for setting up and using the SkyPortal WiFi Module? I’d really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting suggestions.

Correct me if I’m wrong but can I get a pair of wio tracker L1 pro, give one to me son, keep one, and I can send him text messages and have location his location?

My other solution was 1 wio tracker and 1 seedcap t1000

If anyone else has a cheaper or better alternative please let me know

I currently have a pw6 and it runs chess very slowly. Not just chess but over all it’s slow. Whats a newer kindle version that I can jailbreak and run most apps smoothly?

Currently have my pw6 jailbroken, however I’ve noticed it’s slow to navigate menus and settings. Is there a way to debloat or make it faster? I know it’s an old device but just wondering

I recently picked up chess a few months ago after my son taught me how to play so we could play together at home. I enjoy the game and love learning new strategies and techniques. However, I’ve noticed that I get anxious while playing. I play for leisure and fun, but for some reason, I get anxious while playing. At this point, I don’t really care about my rating. I just want to learn, get better, and enjoy playing chess. This anxiety is discouraging.

Has anyone else struggled with this? Are there any tips you can share?

I work at an elementary school, and recently I noticed a few students playing chess during lunch. I joined them one day, and since then I’ve been playing with them whenever I get the chance. What started as a small group of 3 has now grown to about 10 students, which has been amazing to see kids are not only excited to play, but also to watch and learn from each other.

With the school year coming to an end, our budget is already closed, so the school isn’t able to purchase additional chess boards right now. I’ve personally bought two boards to help out, but I’d really love to get a few more so more students can play at the same time.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any resources or organizations that might donate chess boards or help support something like this. The school is looking to start a chess club in the fall and the kids are extremely excited.
