Any recommendations?

I am tired of Google Photos nagging me about backing up photos.

Trying to figure out whether to buy a Pixel 8a that's listed "for parts due to software issues" for $70 on Marketplace. Assuming the IMEI is clean, what else could the software issue be? Seller says

Does that mean it's likely a stolen phone from a Walmart employee?

Don't really need the phone, just thought if it's a minor issue that I can fix by installing a custom ROM or something
