Best place to shop groceries?

This has probably been asked here multiple times but I'm curious to how people shop for groceries at the moment.

Used to shop with coles for flybuys. This year, I've switched to woolies for everyday reward points that I have been converting to Qantas points. However, they've removed the x3 points for everyday gift card for qantas points which I don't think is worth it anymore.

I check the catalogue weekly but noticed that both Coles and Woolies half priced specials aren't as good as they used to be and just considering going with Aldi.

Has anyone who used to shop from Coles/woolies made the switch to Aldi? Is it better?

Currently also signed up to Everyday Extra Subscription where I get 10% off one monthly purchase. I used to have the same for coles.

Also considering signing up for Coles again as well. Do one shop each from Coles and Woolies each month to make the most of 10% monthly then just but the rest from Aldi.

Really curious on how people do their grocery shopping. Thank you!

Are there any advantages to being a dual citizen?

Will be an Australian citizen next year. I don't have any plans of being a dual citizen. I plan to settle and retire in Australia, I don't plan to buy any land or properties in the Philippines nor will I inherit any.

Not looking for answers like be a dual citizen just because I was born Filipino. I'm looking for more practical advantages. Or is it better to just stick with Australian Citizenship?

Also don't have a reason to stay longer than a month in the Philippines, will visit just for holidays.

Thank you.

Staying at Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak (8 days) — best island tours in July/August + booking advice?

We’re staying at Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak for 8 nights (July 28 – August 5). We’ve got an upgraded room and plan to mostly relax, but I’m thinking of doing about 3 days of tours.

A few questions:

What are the best island or nature tours during this season (July/August)?

Is it better to book tours through the hotel or via Klook/online platforms?

Do Phuket-based tours usually include pickup from Khao Lak hotels?

Should I wait until I arrive to book, or is it better to pre-book?

Also, what’s the best island to visit during this time of year considering weather/sea conditions?

Thanks!

Is it worth getting crusher dust or are there any better alternatives?

Was originally planning to get crusher dust for the side of the house (access gate) leading up to the shed so the car could pass and park in shed.

Have been told by someone that crusher dust crackes and errodes especially during heavy rain similar to the photo I attached from a Reddit post.

Any other alternatives? I know concrete would be best but it's very expensive. I also do not want more grass/lawns to more. Are there any better alternatives even if it would cost more than crusher dust but still cheaper than concrete?

Thank you!

EDIT: not doing this myself and will be done by landscaper so would appreciate tips of what I will request from them
