Meron ba ditong 6 digit earner dati pero nag-settle na lang to a much lower income due to stress?

Curious lang po if mayron ba ditong iniwanan ung 6 digit income niya and chose your peace of mind kahit lesser income?

Honestly, I was a lot happier and at peace nun hindi pa 6 digit income ko. Di rin naman ako ganong kagastos and can control my finances pero syempre i cant deny na masarap mag earn ng 6 digit, dami kong extra for my wants. More than a year na rin akong 6 digit earner kasooo it feels like ang dami ng workload ng 6 digit income earner sa corporate. Tipong sulit na sulit ka ng company ksi ung trabaho ng isa pang 3-4na tao.

I feel naman that in terms of my skills on the industry I am in, I can still market myself at may proven track record naman ako ng mga achievements ko. Emergency fund wise i have 6 months safe fund.

Ang worry ko lang is mag resign ng wala pang lilipatan kasi never ko pa syang nagawa kaso sobrang stress ko na sa work. Di ko na kaya ung work load and pressure. Madalas na rin sumakit ung ulo at likod ko or minsan I had to g to the bathroom for a couple of minutes during work simply because I couldnt breathe and sobrang inis ko sa work ko.

Prepared naman na ung resume ko kaso wla talaga akong energy lately na magapply or magparefer kasi gusto ko sana mag rest kahit 1 month lang. the acceptable offer that I could take sana is 65k net. Kaso prang hirap maki nego coming from 6 digit earner down to a lesser income?

Please advice sa mga nakaexperience na ng agnto huhuu

Sales people, do you also get anxious about hitting KPIs every year?

For those in sales roles, have you ever felt anxious every year because of your KPIs?
Like, you did really well in your first and second year, but then you start wondering: “Can I still do this next year?” The pressure of maintaining performance feels exhausting.

How do you see this role being sustainable long term when there’s always that fear of not hitting targets?

Have you tried resigning without back up plan?

I am in a high paying role earning 6 digits monthly but it was draining me every single day to the point that I couldnt have a proper sleep at night, crying almost every day. Already talked to my boss months ago that I wanted to quit and take a rest for a while but just told me to hang on and use my leaves because they’ll be giving support any time soon but it didnt happen. My job title is manager but it was an individual contributor. my expenses monthly is roughly 35-40k per month and with my savings can last for 6 months. I wanted to stay until december to get the bonus and 13th month and other benefits but everyday feels really hard. I dont know what to do anymore.

Any career advice if you have reached your long time dream job and salary but you realized it wasn’t mean for you.

I am the kind of person who believes that loyalty wont pay bills because I used to job hop every 2 years because of 2 reasons, salary and a higher position. Now that I have reached that senior managerial level and got that 6 digit income, it feels like it wasn’t for me. The pressure and workload I was getting are too much for me to handle to the point that I almost couldn’t sleep properly at night, almost crying everyday and thinking of resigning almost everyday. Believe me this role and income is what I’ve exactly prayed for many years ago. If you are on my shoes, what will you do?
