Curious how to apply minoxidil?

Curious how to apply minoxidil?

Hi guys,I have a bit of a strange question about how to apply minoxidil 5% foam.Last year, I shaved my head completely because I couldn't bear to look at myself in the mirror. Let's be honest, it’s much better to look clean-shaven and bold than to walk around with that depressing balding look. I thought I’d be bald for the rest of my life. But then, on 30.01.2026, I started taking oral finasteride. To be honest, I didn't see much of a difference for the first few months. However, as of today, it feels like my hair is starting to look a little stronger and darker, though it's still hard to tell for sure.I am attaching a close-up photo of my scalp taken today. I used my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with micro/macro settings, so the camera heavily cranked up the colors, contrast, and saturation. But because of this "boosted" photo, I can finally see that I have tons of tiny, active dark hair follicles all over my scalp, with no completely dead or slick bald zones. My main issue is that because I shave my head with an electric skull shaver every 2–3 days to keep it completely smooth, I'm not sure how to properly combine this frequent shaving routine with applying the foam version of minoxidil.Any advice on the best routine, timing, or how to avoid irritation? Thanks!

My feedback on working at Lidl as a Customer Assistant for roughly 2 months

I don't know if it's like this everywhere, but at my workplace, boys mostly do everything. All the hard work is done by boys, while girls are on the tills 95% of the time, which is much easier for them. I don't like that we get paid the same amount of money per hour for doing completely different amounts of work

Feel insecure about my future in Digital Marketing

Hi guys,

I have a question for people who have been working in this industry for years. I'm a student at ATU Donegal, studying Marketing with Online Technologies. I’ve already finished my first year and am about to start my second year, but I feel like marketing is a dead field and really hard to enter. I can't quite explain what I'm feeling—it just seems useless and pointless.

I've also asked Google, Gemini, and Claude many times about jobs in digital marketing. I don't know what to do. Is marketing hard? Is it possible to find a job after graduation? To be honest, I don't fully understand what digital marketers actually do on a daily basis. What does a typical workday look like? Who actually needs these services, and why do companies pay for them?

Also, does it even make sense to dive deep into Google Analytics 4, Meta Ads, and things like that anymore, or is AI going to replace it all anyway? What would you advise me to do in my situation to not waste my time?

19Y/O on Day 12 NoFap, dealing with PIED, Flatline & Finasteride anxiety. Need genuine advice/experiences.

Hey everyone,

I’m a 19-year-old guy, currently on Day 12 of my NoFap reset. I’ve been heavily addicted to porn for at least 5 years. Over time, my brain got completely desensitized, and I escalated into shocking/weird categories just to feel something.

Now I’m dealing with brain fog, severe overthinking, and erectile issues.

I need some objective advice from guys who have gone through a PIED recovery while taking Finasteride.

Here is my full timeline and situation:

1. Finasteride & Hair Loss Timeline:

Jan 30, 2026 – Feb 2026: Started Finasteride at 1mg daily. Experienced zero side effects.

March 2026 – June 18, 2026: Switched to 1.25mg daily (cutting a 5mg pill into quarters). Still felt fine physically.

June 19, 2026 – Present: Reduced the dose to 1.25mg 3 times a week to lower any potential risk.

Note: I do not take Minoxidil or any other hair supplements.

2. The Current Issue (PIED + Flatline + Overthinking):

Since I started NoFap (Day 12 now), my libido has dropped significantly, which I assume is the classic flatline. My erections don't get 100% rock-hard; they build up very slowly and feel weak/semi-hard (like 60-70%), especially when I try to "test" myself.

3. The Anxiety / Nocebo Loop:

I’ve caught myself in a toxic compulsion loop: I panic about Finasteride side effects -> I try to "test" my erection using random non-explicit content (like ASMR or mild streams) -> My anxiety spikes -> Adrenaline blocks the erection -> I panic even more, thinking Finasteride ruined me.

My questions for the community:

Did anyone go through a slow/semi-hard erection phase during the first few weeks of a NoFap flatline while constantly overthinking?

Has anyone successfully cured PIED and regained 100% hard-on quality while staying on low-dose Finasteride (1.25mg 3x/week)?

How do I break the mental urge to constantly "test" whether my apparatus is working?

Appreciate any insights, brothers. Staying strong on NoFap and keeping my hair is the goal!

I used AI to write this post in clear English so I could share my full story accurately from A to Z, as I’m not fluent in English. I’m a real guy looking for advice, so please don't think I'm a bot

Applied for Lidl Customer Assistant – 30 days "In Progress", job vanished then came back. Losing my mind here, need advice

Hi everyone,

I really need some insights from anyone who works at Lidl Ireland or knows how their SuccessFactors recruitment portal works. I’m completely losing my mind over this application process and don’t know what to think anymore.

Here is the full story:

May 31st: I applied online for a Part-Time, Entry-level Customer Assistant role.

The extensions & glitch: The closing date kept shifting constantly (first June 12th, then June 26th, then July 3rd). Then, over this past weekend (June 27th), the job completely disappeared from the Lidl Careers site, LinkedIn, and Indeed. I thought it was over. But today, it suddenly reappeared online with the deadline fixed for July 3rd.

Current status: Today marks exactly 30 days since I submitted my application, and my portal status has been stuck on "In Progress" since day one. The "Withdraw" button is still active.

The confusing part:

Another local girl applied after me. She was actually called in for an interview last week (she was rejected on the spot because of her English level). My English is perfectly fine, I have 100% fully flexible availability (weekends, evenings, bank holidays), and I uploaded a great local reference from my previous customer service job. Yet, they never called me or sent an invite.

What I've tried:

I tried reaching out everywhere. I contacted Lidl Customer Care through their chat, and I tried emailing their HR services. Every single channel told me the exact same thing: “HR contact is only for current employees, external recruitment is handled separately, you just have to wait for the hiring team to email you.” So, I am completely blocked from getting any updates from corporate.

Also, a relative of mine spoke to a lady working at that specific store. She kindly radioed the duty manager through her headset and passed my name and phone number directly to them on a slip of paper.

So the store manager literally has my phone number on their desk, the job posting is back online until this Friday (July 3rd), and my portal is still "In Progress" after a full month.

What does this even mean? Are they just keeping me on ice until the final deadline this Friday to interview the remaining pool, or have I been ghosted? Has anyone else been stuck in "In Progress" for a month while others got fast-tracked to interviews?

Thanks a million for any help!

Applied for Lidl Customer Assistant, 28 days "In Progress"

Hi everyone,

I need some advice because I’m losing my mind here. I applied for a Part-Time Customer Assistant role at Lidl on May 31st.The closing date for applications kept changing like crazy: first it was June 12th, then they extended it to June 26th, and then they extended it again to July 3rd.

But yesterday, on June 27th, I checked the website and the job posting was completely gone. It vanished from the Lidl Careers site, LinkedIn, and Indeed.Since the day I applied, I have received absolutely zero emails, zero phone calls, and no updates at all.

But here is the thing: I know another girl who applied after me, and she was actually called for an interview last week! (She was rejected on the spot because of her English level). My English is perfectly fine, I have full flexibility, and a great reference, but they never called me or invited me for an interview.Today is June 28th (exactly 28 days since I applied), and my online portal still says "In Progress" (In Progression).

The job is removed, they never called me, but the portal says I'm still in progress. I don’t know what to do or what this even means. Am I rejected or are they finally going to review the remaining candidates? If anyone works at Lidl or went through this, please help.

Thanks.

turning 20 soon / 175cm / 70kg. Home workout physique check. Need honest advice on abs, posture, and what to focus on.

Hey guys,

Looking for some honest feedback and advice on my current physique. I’m turning 20 this year, my height is around 175-176 cm, and I weigh 70 kg.

I know my body looks okay—I’m definitely not super skinny or weak—but there are a lot of things I really don't like about it right now.

My ultimate goal is to build a lean, strong, and athletic physique, like a Greek god. I want to focus on gaining raw power and functional strength, while keeping that classic V-shape (wider back/shoulders, narrower waist).

The biggest issue for me right now is my stomach and abs. To me, it feels like my core looks kind of weird or "off," especially from the sides and when I move. I want to have those lean, dry, square-looking abs that are visible even when I’m completely relaxed and not flexing. Right now, I don't know what to do to achieve that look. Is it a body fat issue, or do I just need to train them differently to get that density?

Also, I feel like my shoulders are rounded forward. How does my overall posture look to you guys? And how is my back development?

My setup & current level:

I work out completely at home. I have a doorway pull-up bar, dip bars, and I do push-ups (sometimes using deficit stands), abs exercises, and resistance bands. Right now, I can already do 10 clean pull-ups and about 15 solid dips/push-ups.

Please evaluate my overall look and tell me where I should focus to reach that Greek god look and build serious strength. Should I go on a caloric deficit to dry out the core, or should I stay at maintenance/slight surplus and keep grinding on the bars? Any specific exercise recommendations for that square, dry look and for fixing my shoulders would be awesome.

Thanks, guys! Appreciate any advice.
