Hi everyone,
I've noticed an issue where certain anime specials are listed twice on TVDB—both as standalone entries and under the "Specials" season of the main show's page.
I first ran into this while searching for Mushishi: Path of Thorns, but I've noticed it happening with multiple other titles as well. Having separate entries for these creates duplicate search results in third-party apps and media servers.
I tried opening a ticket on the official TVDB support site to report this, but I'm unable to complete account creation due to confirmation email issues. Could a moderator or someone with support access help clean up these duplicate entries or look into the issue? Thanks!
Hey, I’m not sure if we can mark filler episodes without using a specific anime catalog addon, but can we handle it similarly to anime episode numbering, showing 49. Rukia's Nightmare instead of just Rukia's Nightmare? I think adding a filler tag at the end of the title would work—for example, 49. Rukia's Nightmare [Filler].
This should only be applied to full filler episodes. For example, Bleach episode 33 is complete filler, whereas episode 28 is incorrectly marked as filler on some sites (like m!ruro, a popular 🏴☠️ streaming site right now). I’m mentioning this because I don’t know where those sites get their filler data, and I don't want half-canon episodes wrongly marked as filler if this feature gets added. I'm not sure where to source reliable filler data, but I'll leave that to you.
Why do duplicate and incorrect titles appear when searching for an anime? Here in the screenshot the duplicate (first one without the the better poster styling) movie opens, but it doesn't return any streams. Also, when trying to open the anime series with the red poster, it shows a "failed to load" screen.
Recently, there’s been a trend of MP3 players, do you guys have one? Drop some recommendations or any info you think I should know before getting one.
I’ve seen a few post replies suggesting that some people got this working without root, but I’m not sure how they did it. If anyone knows the fix or workarounds, please help out!
Thanks for all your suggestions, guys! The best advice you gave me was to get all the games from the offer. I generally don't purchase games, but this was such a steal that I bought everything that looked interesting—and even a few that weren't entirely to my liking. Let me know if there are any others I definitely shouldn't miss
Drop your suggestions
OS: Tizen
OS Version: 5.5
Stremio Version: 1.8.3 (Theater)
It’s practically impossible to watch content on smart TVs because many films and shows use embedded subtitles. Anime, in particular, often uses the ASS/SSA format, which Stremio can’t render properly on smart TVs (Samsung, LG, etc.). Instead, it displays the subtitle code as shown in the pictures. Please fix this! It’s impossible to watch anything on the big screen like this.
Have any cloudstream plugins have worked for you guys? I tried installing phishers and magix repo but it showed some kind of wired http error, i am using the app from GitHub releases but i also have the issue, you guys got any solutions or is this on their end?
Even animepahe is not working anymore, animekai wasn't working from start. Guys recommend any other extension that has hard coded sub and good quality and playback please
