What would Walt's involvement have been with the Magic Kingdom had he lived longer?
It's safe to say that Walt was hyperfocused (maybe even obsessed) with EPCOT and making it a reality. Even on his deathbed, he is said to have been daydreaming and developing the plans in his mind. However, most material put out before Walt's death really only mentions the Magic Kingdom park as a footnote of the larger Florida Project.
With that in mind, I have always wondered how much he would have been involved in the construction of the Magic Kingdom if he had lived longer? Do you think that he would have been as involved as he was with Disneyland, or would he have stepped back enough to oversee while working on the larger project?
The only thing that makes me question it is how absurdly large the scale of EPCOT would have been. I can't imagine Walt working on Disney World (the parks, hotels, and other infrastructure itself being much larger than Disneyland) while also continuing development of EPCOT.
