’m 66 and tested positive for chek 2 gene with a 45% risk for breast CA. I elected to have a PBMx with reconstruction this past winter. I have Medicare as a primary and Tricare for Life as a secondary. I was assured by all medical staff and office personnel that my insurance would cover my surgery. Medicare paid for my PBmx but now is denying payment for my reconstruction. It apparently has gone to appeal and has been denied. Initially I identified to the PS biller this was a coding issue but now, I’m not so sure. Just reaching out to seek feedback; has anyone else experienced this and any suggestions? I thought prophylactic mastectomies and recon were federally mandated to be covered?

Edit: For background, my mother had breast CA and 18 female relatives (grandmother/her sisters) and several women on my father's side. I had a full oncology work up with the recommendation of surgery.

Is there any place or store I can take my grandson to see an axolotl? I’m willing to go to RIC or VA beach area. (He’s obsessed!!) I plan to call a store in Suffolk tomorrow to see if they have any.

I have never used either service but was wondering which is better in the 23185/23188 area? Thoughts and recommendations? Edit: Guess I should add Grubhub!

We purchased the above referenced safe at Costco and just installed it today. It's been a myriad of issues. First, the key got stuck and would not come out. Ended up using a very scant squirt of WD-40 & while pushing in on the safe door, the key eventually came out. I then set the safe up re: shelves and placed electronic keypad along with the extra key "inside" the safe (big mistake), LEAVING the safe door open. I did this so I could review the online videos etc, thinking I would return to set up the electronic keypad at a later time. Hubs came along to check on the progress & closed & locked (!) the safe!!! Using the key, I cannot get the safe open. I've tried all types of maneuvers, pushing in on the door, pulling out on the door, etc. The pins sound like they are engaged. And yes, as stated before, the electronic keypad & extra key are LOCKED in the safe. OMG!

I've unsuccessfully tried to book flights out of the US to Ankara, Turkey. Obvs, AA doesn't codeshare into Ankara. My concern about booking into Europe (Frankfurt or MUN) as a layover city and then using a regional airline are the required documents (visa?) of flying from Germany into Turkey. (because it's not a connecting flight) Anyone use AA to fly into Ankara?

Of note, I'm desirous of using AA b/c of points. I have tried to book using cash but no options. Thoughts or suggestions. TIA

I'm a beta user and have received access to the Goals feature. I've followed the instructions in creating a goal and attaching a measurable daily task to it. Despite completing the daily effort, there is not change in the Goal itself i.e. the bar measurement. Am I doing something wrong? I've created the goal & attached an existing task which didn't produce any outcome. I deleted both the Goal and the task and re-created both as a new Goal & task, no change. Example: Complete Book A, measurable task, read one chapter a day.

At 95K, what concerns or dealership-based service should we consider?

We are sole owners of a 2012 Camry Hybrid with 95K, currently it runs great. After the warranty expired, we've used a very reputable mechanic (non-dealership) for all routine maintenance. All work has been done on time & in conjunction with Toyota recommended care to include tires (rotation, replacement & alignment).

Are there any known issues as it approaches 100K, any hybrid battery maintenance or dealership evaluations which should be performed? TIA
