Help with ranged Reaver build in campaign?

Help with ranged Reaver build in campaign?

I've been playing a ranged Reaver (Warfare/Rogue) in Titan Quest 2 and am Level 36 midway through Act 3 (heading to the single-combat challenge). However I've been struggling with long time-to-kills for even basic mobs. Bosses have required minor gear changes (for resistances) but recently a sidequest miniboss (skeleton with ground spikes in Act 3) has been combo-oneshotting me.

I don't mind slower combat but having to kite and line up every enemy group is making progress a bit of a slog, so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. In the past, finding a better weapon and increasing attack speed improved the feel of the game immensely but it seems my damage is now low for the area again. According to a previous question I asked, the damage tooltips are bugged making it difficult to figure out if I'm building correctly.

My build is linked here: https://tq2builds.com/build/cmswpjb31000004jme4s80zva

I've been primarily using Heavy Attack and sometimes Scattershot with lots of mobility skills to kite.

What were releases like pre-1.0?

I had a look through Last Epoch’s patch history and it seems to have been in development for over 5 years before release, with lots of reworking and lengthy periods between campaign releases.

For people who have been following the game before release, what was it like?

What Phrecia builds are good for TotA?

Haven’t played TotA before - what builds work well for it? And are any of those unusual Phrecia-exclusive builds?

Help improving Chaos Lich build?

I hadn't played ED/Contagion yet so I ran a Lich through the campaign and recently hit maps, but now I'm finding the damage a bit lacking and I'm concerned it won't scale. So I thought I'd ask before committing my meager resources.

pobb.in link here

I allocated Event Horizon to take advantage of Eternal Life and get to Spaghettification but it's a bit of a hassle and it seems the top builds don't use this part of the tree. The fire skills converted by Blackfire Covenant use the chaos damage bonuses but not the skill level bonuses, and don't trigger the 3% cost.

The top Lich builds seem to use minions, plants, or some Profane Ritual thing I don't understand. Should I switch my build up completely?

Subgenres and Ratings?

After a STS addiction many years ago, I’ve recently returned to the genre to find a huge variety of games (many of them made by solo developers or very small teams). While this is very healthy for the genre, it makes getting my head around what’s available more difficult, especially when meta-progression mechanics is often enough to qualify a game as a roguelite. Hades seems a world away from Against the Storm and Monster Train! Because these games are so replayable, it seems you can get hooked by one of them and not get around to finding out what else is out there.

Is there a common understanding (even just in this subreddit) about the main subgenres of roguelites and how games rank in terms of depth, complexity, replayability and so on?
