Got this bike when it came out, it was my car for a few years. It was a fairly innovative design at the time, being 1X, and a flat grey/black paint job in the era when all mountain bikes were a billion gear 3x, and high contrast primary colors. Marketed as a BMX/Mountain/dirt jumper type hybrid, it's claim (and name) were off its supposed toughness and durability. Every part failed. I literally snapped the crank arm off. Last year I dug it out of bike purgatory and added a front air shock, new tires, new bars, stem. Last month, I added a Velo Orange seatpost, Odyssey Twist BMX pedals, grips, and some kind of device that holds water. Oh yeah, i had the local bike store (thanks Outpost! converted it to single speed. I haven't had a single speed since my BMX teen days, it is so incredibly fun.
