Two other listings on this street, similar specs, and both have price dropped by 100k and been on market for 40 days. Does Granada sell at a discount?

We’re looking at buying homes and settled on Santa Clara, due to job proximity among other things. Some neighborhoods in west Santa Clara are nice, but this stretch of land near Lawrence and el Camino is terrible. These shopping centers look like they belong to an abandoned city, not the center of Silicon Valley. Why are there so many vacancies? I’ve heard Lawrence shopping center has been like this for a decade. What’s going on?

Looking at putting a bid on a home, amateur here. This is a SFH in Redwood City built in the 50s. My realtor is a family friend who is not experienced with purchasing. Ive summarized the concerns I have with ChatGPT (sorry for the AI content):

I have literally no idea if this these repairs would be 20k or 200k. I know termite damage is common, the foundation / settlement has me worried. Like how am I supposed to know the extent of the damage while waiving contingencies? I just roll the dice? Are these problems common with houses of this age? Would appreciate any advice!

I have two 4k 60hz ultrafine monitors (TB3), and I am planning on getting a Studio Display XDR (TB5). will the following work?

I think the math works out to roughly 80gbps over the TB5 link, but not sure if there is some weird interaction between daisy chaining between TB3/5z

I want a Schwab platinum card to liquidate all of my points at 1.1 cents (yes.. I know) but every time I try to sign up for the Schwab card I'm stuck in PUJ. However, I've gotten physical mail and in-app offers to either sign up for a platinum card with a SUB of 120k points, or to switch from my gold to platinum.

Is the process with Schwab different here? Has anyone gotten mailers or offers from Schwab specifically? Wondering why I can't seem to get anything.
