For how long will SolidJS 1.0 be in maintenance mode?
Migration to 2.0 is painful for me, i'd like to stick with 1.0 for as long as possible. For how long will it continued to be supported? So I can plan accordingly.

Hello guys,
Question to UK folks, what transformers do you have with this doorbell that enables 24/7 recording? I am not much savvy with these voltage numbers so would appreciate if someone can just provide a link for a proven transformer that works well that I can purchase.
I’m tiered of sitting outside and have my cameras start spamming alerts. Why is it so hard to give us this feature? It’s literally just a software update. All other brands offer this feature why can’t you do it? Please.
Regards,
A happy customer
P.S I have seen a few post about adding a whole bunch of automations to try and mimic this feature, but something this basic should really be out of the box.
I have a hub h500 and 4 tapo cameras for 24/7 recording. I want to have a display feed for 24/7 viewing. Can anyone recommend a good tablet/monitor for this? Around 15 inches. Since it’s only for viewing something cheap :)
Hello, I have the tapo d235 doorbell and it was paired with the h200 and working flawlessly. I’ve recently upgraded my hub to the h500 but I’m getting alot of missed events, or events are triggered but not getting saved or events not triggering at all.
I thought I just need to give the network some time to stabilise but it’s been a few days now and no signs of improvement. Any advice would be appreciated.
I am on £90k TC and wife is on £70k TC. We have a 500k house with only a 140k mortgage left. So we have pretty high disposable income. No kids. So hopefully I still qualify to post here.
I am seeing a lot of SWE on this sub on massive 200k+ TC. I wanted to ask those, how did you get to it? Was Leetcode grind the only way?
I grinded Leetcode a few years back and got pretty good at it. But I hated doing it. Current role I am a mid level with 5 yoe. My company is a well known UK neo-bank/fintech (think Revolut, Wise, Monzo etc). At senior I can expect to be in range of 100-130k, senior 2 130-180k, staff 180-240 and above that at principle I think we top out around 240-300k mark. Realistically I think 95% of engineer here top out at senior 1 or 2. So I don't think I will get to staff or principle any time soon.
I am 28, so I am trying to plan my career progression to maximise my income. I know American tech pays a lot more (spent 5 months grinding LC for google and I got really good at it, but in my final interview they ended up asking me some niche question😞) , but are there any other companies paying similar amounts that don't require a Leetcode grind for 4 months? Or is my current company really the ceiling I can expect to achieve without doing this grind? If so should I prioritise career progression at my current company?
I currently use cursor pro plus plan and get $70 usage per month for third party models like Sol. I really like Sol but I use it restrictively for Plan and review only. It always finds things which my main coding model (grok 4.5) misses.
If I switch to codex 5x and use Sol 2-3 hours a day a few days a week, will I run out of usage quickly? I’m not a heavy user running agents 24/7. I am very involved in code and reviews in the IDE as to prevent cognitive debt so my usage is slow.
I plan to have 4 cameras 24/7 recording. Can I just buy any 2.5 SSD or do people recommend specific one?
Additionally is 1TB enough for 4 continuous recordings? Would be nice to at least get 2 weeks of saved footage. Or do people recommend 2TB?
Is it possible? My hub would be placed next to the router and I would want the monitor/tablet in another part of the home. Is it possible to stream it over WiFi? Or is HDMI output the only way?
I have joined a new company and there is a clause where I have the following clause in my contract
"“You shall not work for anyone else whilst employed by us without prior approval.”"
I plan to incorporate my side project in a few months (after my probation period ends). It does not compete with the company in anyway and is built in my personal time and using person resources. Given this I guess i would still need to declare it once i incorporate.
Has anyone disclosed this sort of stuff before? If so how receptive are companies to this kind of stuff typically?
Little DIY experience. Is this something I can probably tackle (if so what to do?) or better to get someone in?

Currently have a verbal offer, don’t have any competing offers, been at my current company since graduation so no experience in negotiating before. Would you negotiate in this climate? I’m not talking asking for 20-30k more, but maybe 5-6k more? Is it worth doing so or should i just play it safe and just accept? I really want the job.
Operating system Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Version 10.0.26200
GPU Nvidia 4070 super
Driver Game Ready Driver - 610.62 - Tue Jun 16, 2026
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor
RAM 32.0 GB
Recently I've developed this issue, on idle/normal use the GPU suddenly stops working and fans start blasting at 100%. When i test it out in a game, performance is very bad, so i think gpu is not being used. Surprisingly i still have fine video output.
What is even more surprising is nowhere is it reporting any fault
- Event viewer = nothing reported
- Task manager = nothing major running
- Device manager = says device is working perfectly
- Nvidia shield = No gpu telemetry reported once fans crank up to 100%, same with GPU stats in task manager. Prior to fans cranking up the statistics are being reported fine.
But its clearly not working and fans are blasting away at max speed very loudly while on idle/normal use. So i am a little lost what to do. I will next try to reseat my gpu, but not sure if i have a psu issue, and if so how to validate it. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I clicked on “scan for hardware changes” in device manager on the gpu driver and it crashed my pc lol, it seems to have booted back up just fine though.
Currently have a product fit round with wise, does anyone have any insights to the type of questions i can expect? They gave a guide and some questions mentioned on it were like, “How would wise customers benefit from you?”. IMO this seems like a pointless round that doesn’t seem to really offer much value to anyone, except how quickly candidates can memorise some buzzwords and terms that the interviewer can tick off their sheet. Just seems like a waste of time. Already cleared recruiter screen, coding round, system design and if i clear this another final interview with HM round. No idea why their bar is so high when salary isnt even all that.
Anyone gone through the loop recently and can shed some experience on this round?
Anyone going through the loop recently? Have a live coding round and behavioural this week would appreciate some insight there’s hardly any information online.

anyone gone through the process recently? if so are they still asking the circuit breaker or currency service question?
I have a live coding round and system design interview next week. I would highly appreciate any advise by people that have gone through the process recently.
I’ve noticed a lot of companies moving away from leetcode and are now giving more real life, api based questions, where you have to get some data back from an api, parse it then output it. For example a few weeks ago i was asked this at doordash https://prachub.com/interview-questions/design-a-resilient-bootstrap-api
Does anyone know where one can practise these types of questions? Prachub has past asked questions that people reported, but I’m looking for something complete with ide, test cases etc. Have not found anything yet.
