Oil for old Toro 22" Recycler mower

I inherited an old Toro 22" recycler mower (model 20016). I am having trouble finding information on what type of oil it takes, even on Toro's site (probably made pre-2010). I assume this would take like a regular SAE 30 oil, but is there anything special I would need? Anyone have an advice on how to find what I'm supposed to put in this thing?

Windows 10 laptop only loading Temp profile instead of our normal user?

I signed in, as normal, to our Windows 10 laptop, with my user profile selected (the only one), using my password.

It took it, but then what would be the normal Windows loading screen said "preparing Windows" instead.

When Windows came up, it was like it had reverted to default. No files, generic desktop image, etc. If you click on the folders for Desktop, Documents, Downloads, etc, they're either empty of just have generic start files in them.

The C Drive folder is now called Windows-SSD (C:). When I went to it, and drilled down to the users, ny user profile is there. All of the folders under that profile folder (documents, downloads, etc) are also there and fully populated with my files.

Here's what I did so far:

  1. Tried restarting. Did not restart fully, had to power down and back up. Same issue on restart.

  2. backed up files on a usb drive.

Is this a sign of a corrupted registry? Do I need to actually edit the registry? Is there an easier fix?

Best bet for backup storage?

So I have some drives that are getting long in the tooth. However, with storage process skyrocketed, I'm not looking to go out and buy a bunch of replacement drives. Obviously should have pulled the trigger 6 months ago.

I'm mostly interested in just backing some drives up (1-2 TB each) as a redundance while we wait out the current shortage/cost insanity.

Are used drives even an option? I see the market just exploding on eBay. I'm hesitant to go for no name Chinese drives, but I'm seeing a lot that seem too good to be true (Like new 4tb external drive for 40 bucks BIN on eBay).

Anyone got thoughts on storage solutions in these cataclysmic times?

Sooooo....unopened portal, wtd with it?

Briefly I was gifted a Portal back in its heyday, but it sat in the closet because the family ended up using other means for calls.

I found it today, still glimmering hopefully under its shrinkwrap. From what I understand, most of its functionality is gone.

I'm honestly not sir what to do with it. I assume there's no market for it, even new in box? And if I open it, it's there any actual use for it left? Will it work even as a glorified digital picture frame?

I got the dreaded blinking S, check engine light messages on my 2020 Forester the other day. After ensuring it wasn't the gas cap, I took it to my mechanic to check out. The code came back from the much-maligned Thermo Control Valve. This is the issue that resulted in a warranty extension for a couple years' worth of Foresters ('19-'21 I think).

So I need to get it in to the dealer. They can't get me in until next week. Is this just a sensor issue, or is this dangerous to drive on? I have a weekend trip and I'm trying to figure out if I need to rent a car.
