A shipment of personal effects from Saudi Arabia to Sweden has been on hold for several days now and I was on the phone with dhl yesterday and today and yesterday they barely gave me any information transferring me between departments (and telling me to write down numbers instead of clicky clack transferring me) and today one of them I sensed was being rude and hang up on my face so I called right back at the heat of the moment (I wish I didn’t) threatened to report the guy and they immediately sent me email saying customs think the declared value of used stuff bought years ago were too low and on the phone they told me to contact customs myself, customs were rather nice and told me they’re waiting for dhl to return with new paper work declaring the parcel as “regular import “, I have made it clear to both parties that it’s hard to put a value on stuff bought years ago that deprecated in value and that I will accept their own estimate and will pay any customs duty. I have slew of mental health issues and things that seemingly are not being handled efficiently adds to the toll when the shipper paid for “express” promising “we deal with customs 100%” now they told me to contact customs myself. I feel like I offended their colleague and they are out to get me because tones changed after calling them before coming down for a minute.
