does Damián have a strong opinion on their music being sampled commercially?

i have a few non-commercially released songs where i sampled their music. considering they will likely be impossible to reach out to and clear the samples, does anyone know Damián's stance on sampling? did they ever say anything about (not) allowing music with their work sampled onto streaming platforms?

our monoculture is incredible and we should strive to keep it

been thinking about this for a little bit. i remember late 2023-2024 when we had a selection of artists and then out of nowhere Nettspend came out and made a ton of noise. at the time, the discourse was pretty unpleasant, but very intense. after getting the eyes of the entire ug space on him, he dropped "nothing like uuu". amazing music video with an amazing beat and everybodys eyes were glued to it. at the time i didnt love the song, but as time went by, it strongly grew on me. it represented the time where almost everyone in this loosely defined community came together to witness the same event, whether we hated it or loved it. it rightfully became an anthem of the ug rap community despite sample clearances, which would have murdered any popularity had it not been for the strong opinions of the community.

all of that to say, i look forward to whatever our next moment of monoculture will be. maybe it already happened, when "Half Blood" came out and everybody got together to support slayr. maybe it was fakemink with 'Easter Pink'. maybe another artist will gather the massive momentum and cement something into our collective mind. but whatever it will be, i hope this community will be watching. i hope there wont be splinters of people who dont like, so dont engage. discussion, whether positive or not and as long as it isnt abuse, is very helpful in order to keep this community thrive. engage with new music, whether its here or on other platforms. thats all.

with their recent part-dominant win over The Huns, academy team CYBERSHOKE Prospects are now within 10 spots of the main team.

VRS spots*

is CYBERSHOKE Prospects a promising academy or did they simply claim a huge bounty off The Huns?

i listened to all 786 Percatric songs - heres everything you need to know

i thought id get this done before the hype died but last singles aint been getting love. maybe the next tape drops on 22nd and yall look back at this post. 786 songs - 588 singles, 11 EPs, 17 mixtapes - heres your very brief takeaways:

- perc has some of the best flows in plugg i heard but he started super phoning it in around mid-2025, check out Real trenches to hear him rap but anything 2024 and later has great flow, although the whiny falsetto and singing are less favoured by me

- absolute worst stretch was the old songs where he has the plugg disease and picks throwaway beats for throwaway dj pages and says slurs / hitler bars

- best songs imo are (in order until under 9/10): Zord, Super Fye, Pac Man, Candle Stick, Crunk Start, Lemon Pepper Wings, Chamoii, World Wide
- best prods are: eizen hayes (noisy shit), martincooper (noise walls), hiisoulja (weird stuff), christian22/sethro/kamiworldx (plugg stuff super hit or miss tho)
- his best shit is on spotify most of the stuff on soundcloud dj pages is wank
- perc40 is fuckin ass them 2024-23 beats all sounded the same

- the worst songs are (from worst to best until 3/10): Charlie SWG, safe house, Swag Scars, SwagFather

- worst host is by far DJ SAM bro got the left-leftovers
- kj2ugly is buuums but so are most of the feats

- his rage/new jazz/trap songs are mostly mid
- Percatric Archive page has the weirdest songs, even more hit or miss than usual
- i think the average rating came around to ~60/100 ish because the singles in 2023 were so fuckin dull most of the time

hope you dont make the same mistake as me and do the same shit
