I just got a Ninja Crispi to replace my old air fryer, and I'm trying to cook miso black cod. I've made it before in a standard air fryer, and the recipe requires putting a piece of foil underneath the fish and then air frying for 10 minutes at 375F. However, the Ninja Crispi doesn't allow me to set the temperature. What is the best mode/setting to cook miso cod? And should I still use foil?
I have a ninja crispi mini form costco and I seldomly use it.
starting to use it more recently and for some reason with the small container, sometimes it will stop/halt the air frying (no sound), but the timer is still present.
Another issue I had recently was trying to use the larger container with the attachment. The console fits into the attachment, but whenever I put it onto the container I keep getting the "LID" error, but it's snug on.
Is it defective and I should return it or am I missing something?
I have great hearing, but I’m not sure I’m supposed to hear the coil whining noise when my ninja crispi pro is plugged in. Are we just all tolerating this? I guess I’m just unplugging it. I see it’s a problem with most their machines.
Too hot outside for the blackstone so a simple hot dog with zucchini cooked at the same time..
All I can imagine trying to lift the insert out with a fork like it shows in the directions is tots all over the floor. Today the closest clean thing was a ladle and it was a winner.
I've got a tiny kitchen that isn't always the cleanest at the end of the day (as you can see). So in theory setting down the lid and getting oven mits and pouring the tots onto a plate would probably be easiest. That isn't always an option though. The ladle worked much better than a spatula or tongs - more tots per scoop.
I have the ninja crispy (non pro model). I’m trying to understand what roast mode do. From some reserach it say same temp but lower fan speed. Other result say also lower temperature.
In particular i’m doing a sous vide pork fillet and i want to use the crispy to make the final sealing. What is the best setting between the two?
Has anyone air fried the frozen trader joe’s mac and cheese? I am VERY new to air frying so i don’t mean to be stupid. also any trader joe’s frozen treats or any hacks are encouraged please 🥹I have the portable one and not the pro if that makes a difference
Has anyone made the Lakanto brownies or any other brownie mix in the Ninja Crispi? Any suggestions are appreciated. Do I need to put them in a separate baking pan inside the glass? (Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m new to this)
So I decided to make some Salmon Cheddar Cakes in the Ninja Crispí for dinner. What do you think?
I was going to buy the Pro but then the original Crispi was on sale at Costco yesterday for $130. I pulled the trigger and air fried a chicken in it last night, which turned out great. I am considering purchasing a 2nd fryer so I can cook vegetables and other sides at the same time as my protein. Is this dumb? Will I blow the breaker in my house using two air fryers simultaneously? Should I just time my cooking so that the vegetables are frying while the meat is "resting" which is necessary for roasted chicken anyway?
I remember last year I saw multiple videos of these exploding and the glass shattering.. Has that been resolved or is that user error?
I was researching air fryers recently and the Crispi Pro caught my eye, but some of the YT reviews I watched de-influenced me.
However, I see Ninja just announced/released the Crispi DualZone and it resolves a couple complaints people had about the Pro - obviously the dual baskets for batch cooking / more cooking surface (unlike the Pro where larger baskets really just get taller), along with better orientation of the basket handles for easier manipulation.
Obviously these haven't been out long enough for any reviews, but I'm curious if anyone has jumped at buying one early? I have some Amazon GCs burning a hole in my pocket and was considering it. Is it generally safe to be an "early adopter" of new Ninja models or should I wait?
So I have a 40 per cent discount voucher off a ninja product in the UK. Thinking of the Crispi pro in pink. Only pink ones in stock ATM is the 7 in 1 bundle with the extra 3.8l dish.
Is this dish good to have or is it not necessary? Any advice gratefully received!
Hello i want to buy the ninja crispi pro and was wondering is it possible to bake a whole potato like you would in a regular oven ?
I'm a new user and one thing I have been worried about is that the Crispi's exhaust vent is very close to where the power cord starts.
I've been making my crispi face away from the outlet so I can place the wire on the crispi, so it feels less 'in the way' of the vent.
is this something I should even be worried about? any veterans of the appliance with experience to share?
