1956 Rollei 3.5F and expired TMax 100

My first post was deemed NSFW and removed (apparently a sculpture from 1920 had some naughty bits). Did a central coast (California) road trip and brought my 70-yr-old Rollei with me. Meter works great, but I’m usually f/8 and 1/250 with this film during the day. It and Acros are my favorite BW emulsions. Always get lots of questions when I’m carrying it - the weirdest one is always “does it work?” No - I’m carrying this boat anchor up and down stairs for the sheer joy of it.

Found my Grandad’s Rolleiflex

Hi guys. My grandad died when I was very young meaning I don’t remember him at all. I’ve recently found his old rolleiflex - he was a journalist and photographer - and would love to properly use it to feel closer to him.

I will also obviously research online but I thought it would be helpful to ask people with firsthand knowledge of the cameras for help. I shot a roll of Ilford 400 but the pictures came out over/underexposed (attached an example). The camera has a built in light metre. I’m really new to film and so find all the technical bits daunting. Oh and the winder for the film has also become jammed after starting a new roll? Not sure how to fix this. I also found a lense (?). Any advice would be amazing and greatly appreciated.

Rolleiflex auto fire

Wondering if any of you guys encountered this. The winding lever will auto fire the shutter if it is above 8 feet. Anything at 8 feet and before, no problems. Apparently there isn’t space for the lever to make a full turn or something when it is at further focus.

Front cover and focusing knob

Just picked up a mx-evs type 2 and I noticed the front cover doesn’t rack all the way back when set to infinity. Also noticed the knob doesn’t go past 4 ft. I checked focus on focus screen and using a hasselblad focusing screen on the film plane and it seems to be in focus at every point. Any input would be appreciated.
